Exceeded my expectations, I really loved it and was very satisfied with my choice. The hotel is quiet yet centrally located, with a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) right downstairs. The designer's taste is impeccable. Every staff member was incredibly gentle and kind, and the bedding was super comfortable. I even participated in one of the hotel's activities and sewed a handbag! The food was exquisite. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Changsha.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations; I have to give it a great review. As soon as you walk in, the distinct design, different from the outside, makes you feel comfortable. The room is also very spacious, full of interesting elements, and the quality is excellent. The service, however, is the best. The butler service is always there, offering a variety of experiences. Breakfast delivered to the room in a bento box is also amazing. There's also tea brewed with well water and travel photography workshops. Honestly, you don't even need to go anywhere else; just staying at the hotel is incredibly relaxing. There are just so many thoughtful details.

This hotel really redefines what high quality service at luxury hotels should be - personable, friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff are eager to be helpful, are extremely communicative and responsive via WeChat, and cater to your every needs. My impression before I arrived was already a positive one because they helped me arrange two packages to be sent in advance to the hotel. They even let me use their contact details as the contact number to make the order as I did not have a local phone number. Upon arrival, the packages were waiting for us and housekeeping took away the leftover packaging. They also offer a free laundry service and I cannot emphasise how soft and nice smelling our clothes were when we received our freshly laundered clothes. The bathroom amenities are the luxury brand Le Labo and the water provided is the mineral water brand Evian. Of course they also have Dyson hair dryers. The daily breakfasts are truly decadent with abalone on our first morning and Angus sirloin on our second morning. We can order seconds of any of the dishes we liked. Fruit juices are freshly made. The barista even made takeaway drinks for us to enjoy on our outings. Afternoon tea and evening soups are also provided and guests can choose what time they would like it to be served and where (for example, hotel room or hotel lounge). They even prepared cold milk for us to soothe us after we returned from dinner eating some local spicy Changsha chicken. Truly outstanding service! One of the things that sets this hotel apart from any other we have stayed at are the afternoon activities they offer to their guests. On our second day we enjoyed a Cloisonné enamel class in the hotel and we will certainly be displaying the fruits of our hard work in our home when we return home. All the materials were provided to us and one of the lovely staff provided instructions and was extremely patient with us despite the language barrier. Such unique experiences on offer each day really make the stay so enjoyable for guests. I can understand why this hotel was won so many accolades. The staff really have earnt this award. It is thanks to their dedication that this hotel has earnt such a prestigious reputation. It is genuinely worth every penny! I am not sure when we will return to Changsha but it is exciting to know that the hotel does have another branch in Chengdu which we will be keen to visit, perhaps next year. All I can say is that I will always have fond memories of this hotel and particularly its staff and this hotel has certainly set the bar high for outstanding service.

Yijian 6500 is hands down the best hotel in Changsha! Tucked away on Sujia Alley's ancient stone-paved streets, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, it's just steps from the bustling Wuyi Square and IFS. Yet, once you step inside, the tranquility of its Zen-inspired courtyard with black brick and grey tiles instantly creates a peaceful escape from the city's noise – truly a gem of quiet luxury. The room's dark aesthetic perfectly matched my taste, and the goose down bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. They've got all the premium amenities: Dyson hairdryer, smart toilet, LELABO toiletries, and even fresh Baisha Ancient Well water delivered daily for drinking. Enjoying tea with the kung fu tea set really brought out the charm of Changsha. The 24-hour butler service was incredibly thoughtful, handling everything from luggage to ordering Tea'sa Tea for me and even planning my itinerary. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks were all delivered directly to my room; the abalone breakfast and custom sparkling water were a delightful treat. What surprised me most was the complimentary travel photoshoot. The photographer guided me through poses, and I received 9 retouched photos plus all the original shots, making for some truly high-end pictures! It's also within walking distance of popular spots like Tianbao Brothers and Tea'sa Tea. After a long day of exploring, returning to the hotel to relax on the terrace, watching the old city's grey tiles reflect the modern high-rises, made the experience absolutely perfect. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Changsha!

Satisfied, the butler was great, and the kids really enjoyed the crafts! Everything was done with such care, but the breakfast was just terrible! The next day, I just wanted a bowl of plain congee.

A tranquil oasis in the middle of Chaozong Street, a lightly gentrifying district that still retains the charm of hazy mahjong rooms and everyday life. The chef is top notch, the balanced meals are a healthy counterpoint to all of the spicy food. If you have the option to spring for a package that includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and late night - do so! The selections change daily. The staff all exude warm hospitality and go out of their way help with every whim, rewarding travellers that value independence and flexibility.

This guesthouse is absolutely lovely, the best and most thoughtful service I've ever experienced at a B&B. It truly shouldn't have any negative reviews; I almost didn't choose it because I saw some at first, but it completely exceeded my expectations. Breakfast runs until 1 PM, afternoon tea until 8 PM, and even late-night snacks until midnight! They're incredibly accommodating, truly a fantastic place. I wish they'd open one in every city; I'd definitely stay again. It would be even more perfect if the price could stay under 1,000! 😍 And the photographer is excellent at taking portraits, very satisfied.
