The room was decent, and the service was okay; the staff were all very enthusiastic and the hygiene was fine. Breakfast: The variety was really limited, I didn't even know what to eat. The toppings for the rice noodles and regular noodles were strange; they just mixed stir-fried dishes in, and I had to make do with that for two days. The other dishes were also just so-so. Pool and Gym: The changing room was way too small. On my first day, it was alright, but on the second day, a weekend, more people showed up, including many kids. Firstly, the pool water was a bit shallow and on the colder side. Secondly, the changing rooms and showers were incredibly few and very crowded; it was quite awkward with several people squeezing around. However, the executive lounge included in this package, where you can have a drink in the evening, was excellent. The two young ladies serving were very enthusiastic and nice. On my second visit, she remembered my preferences, which was really impressive. The cocktails tasted great! The mousse was also decent, but I won't even comment on the bread. The service staff were also quite good. When I checked in, they informed me about all the benefits, and I was able to get a late check-out. Overall, I'd give it a four-star rating. The breakfast and changing rooms are really not as good as even the entry-level Marriott hotels built in recent years.

As a first-time guest at the JW Marriott Hotel Changsha, my overall experience was extremely satisfying. The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station, making transportation easy. The room was spacious and bright, and the facilities were new and well-maintained. The WeChat concierge, Lydia, provided prompt and thoughtful service. The hotel's design incorporates many clever details; the lobby is grand and elegant, and the entire hotel has a refined, scholarly atmosphere. Overall, both the hardware facilities and the service level align with a luxury hotel, making it suitable for business or leisure travelers seeking a sophisticated experience.

Facilities: The gym facilities are excellent and surprisingly spacious. The changing rooms even have a spin dryer for swimwear, so you don't have to carry a wet swimsuit after swimming. Cleanliness: Spotless and comfortable. Ambiance: Very new. The executive lounge with its floor-to-ceiling windows is perfect for photos. Service: Fantastic! Every staff member is incredibly service-minded.

Decided to visit Changsha at the last minute during the final two days of my holiday. The JW Marriott I booked this time was quite a pleasant surprise for me. Although it's not close to the city center, transportation is incredibly convenient. It's only about a 150-meter walk to the Line 1 subway station, and being outside the downtown area also means the price is a bit more favorable. The hotel is very new, so the facilities are excellent, and the bedding was super comfortable. My itinerary was a bit rushed, so I didn't get a chance to check out the pool and gym, which is a minor regret. The only slight drawback was probably the breakfast – the variety was a bit limited, but the taste was quite good. My first impression of Changsha was largely shaped by the JW Marriott, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Great location! The subway station is just a 5-minute walk away, and there's a large shopping mall within a kilometer. There's also a fantastic BBQ restaurant right across from the hotel. It's about 4 kilometers from the hotel to Xiangjiang Square, which is easily accessible by taxi or subway. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, and the gym and swimming pool are very modern.

Arrived at the hotel at 1 PM on the second day of Chinese New Year. The concierge was very professional, helping with luggage and operating the elevator. The front desk staff was very nice. We booked a courtyard room for two adults and two children, and since one of our 'children' was an adult, they kindly offered an extra complimentary breakfast, which really impressed me. Later, we connected with our butler, Naib, who was incredibly thoughtful, sending us a travel guide and discount coupons. The turndown service and warm milk were such a pleasant touch! I had researched beforehand that the hotel hasn't been open for long and is still in its prime. The facilities are well-maintained, and the decor perfectly matches the JW brand. The kids' room was uniquely decorated, and they even gifted a chocolate platter and a griffin toy. The kids loved them! I just wish they could have given us one more next time, as they didn't know who to give it to. We were on the 46th floor, and the night view was stunning. My only regret was that it was cloudy for all three days, so the daytime view from such a great floor was wasted. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and major attractions are within 8 stops, which is very convenient. The breakfast spread was extensive and included local Changsha specialties. The heated pool had long operating hours and wasn't crowded during the Spring Festival, and the facilities were great. As I mentioned, the decor style is exactly to my taste. The only minor drawback is that the sliding door to the open-plan bathroom is a bit heavy, and if left open when people are showering one after another, it lacks a bit of privacy. However, overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives. I am very satisfied with both the hotel's hardware and service, and I would definitely consider staying here again.
