FUNGEE Hotel (Wuyi Square, Huangxing Square Station, Changsha)

The hotel facilities are very comprehensive. They offer complimentary afternoon tea, cocktails, and health-boosting porridge. There's also a beautiful rooftop terrace with a fantastic and elegant ambiance. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to Huangxing Square subway station, making it super easy to get around and visit attractions. The front desk staff, both male and female, were extremely friendly and helpful, always responding promptly to any questions. The breakfast was delicious too! I really enjoyed my stay this time. Perhaps because I only stayed one day, the experience felt a bit short, but I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!

The hotel service was excellent, very warm and welcoming. The front desk staff, especially the young man, was incredibly enthusiastic. The hotel offers a wide range of services, and the rooms are very cozy and well-equipped. It's conveniently located right above Huangxing Square subway station and very close to Wuyi Square. They also offer complimentary cocktails, and from 8 PM to 10 PM, there's even free 'Goodnight Congee.' Plus, they have cold brew tea from Cha Yan Yue Se. Highly recommended!

The room facilities are complete and the hygiene is spotless. The room is also very comfortable, and the location is excellent, right in the city center, making it convenient to go anywhere. Just turn right out of the hotel and there's a subway station, making it easy to visit all attractions in Changsha. The hotel's breakfast is served until 11 am, which is a blessing for late sleepers. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The service staff are also very warm and thoughtful. They even ask if you'd like late-night porridge. I will definitely stay here again.

Traveling with a group of kids, we booked four twin rooms for two nights! The kids' first impressions were, 'It's so close to the subway station!' and 'The room is so smart!' And indeed: 1. The hotel's front desk staff member was very diligent, confirming details for the seven minors with individual phone calls. Thumbs up! 👍👍👍 2. Breakfast is next to the front desk. Although the serving area is a bit small, the food is delicious and the place is clean and hygienic! With congee, noodles, and a self-service buffet for less than 300 [currency, likely CNY], what more could you ask for? 3. Every evening, there are free freshly mixed cocktails, freshly brewed cooling congee, juices, and desserts... 4. The mini-fridge in the room even had complimentary Calpis and cold-brewed Tea's Original tea... 5. My biggest concern is always hygiene, and they had thoughtful disinfectant next to the smart toilet, plus the overall cleanliness was excellent. All in all, very satisfied!

This was my second trip to Changsha. The hotel I stayed at a few years ago didn't seem to be on Trip.com anymore, so I couldn't find it. I searched for hotels near Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street again and found this one. It's super convenient because the metro is right next door, making it easy to eat and explore. The front desk is on the 11th floor, and maybe because it's the top floor, breakfast in the morning was a bit hot. The service was still very good. You can even scan a QR code in the room to order items or a foot bath tub. They also offer sweet congee in the evening. I booked a deluxe twin room, and the space was a little cramped, making it awkward to place luggage. The facilities are fine, but the air conditioning temperature was unstable. If I set it to 25 degrees, the fan would stop and it would suddenly get very hot. If I set it to 23-24 degrees, it was too cold. 😂 However, the service and location are great. It's just a few steps from Exit 2 of Metro Line 2, and right next to a Chayan Yuese. I'd probably consider staying here again on my next visit.

The service was excellent, with thoughtful reminders every day. They even provided a lovely 'good night' congee. The environment is fantastic; right outside, you'll find a lively and beautiful plaza, and the subway is very close. Despite the bustling outside, the soundproofing is superb, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed rest!

The hotel's location is super convenient, and the staff are really friendly. There's a subway station right downstairs, and a big shopping mall nearby, which is perfect for shopping. They also offer free laundry and drying services, and breakfast is served until 11 am. Plus, there's afternoon tea and self-service coffee upstairs, which is a really nice touch.
