Longemont Yes Hotel

Staying at the Dragon Dream Yashihu畔 Hotel with my old classmates was a fantastic experience. The location is super convenient, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and waking up to the night view of the ancient town right outside our window was just magical. We had a really comfortable and pleasant stay! 🌙

The soundproofing is terrible. I kept hearing chair noises all night and in the morning. There was also a music festival with people singing late at night, and guests from the next room were even shouting out the window. I couldn't sleep at all. The floor was wet, and the balcony was moldy.

Facilities: Quite comprehensive, everything you need. Hygiene: Clean. Environment: Very good, close to the ancient town. Service: Very enthusiastic and attentive! I took my wife here for our wedding anniversary, and the environment was lovely. The double ticket to Taihu Performing Arts City (unlimited entry for three days) was fantastic: the evening fireworks, lights, and 'datihua' (iron flower show) were absolutely beautiful!

This is the worst hotel I've stayed in for decades! It's even worse than a hostel from the 90s! During the off-season, I paid 459 RMB for a tiny room where the bed literally takes up the entire space as soon as you open the door! The facilities are ancient, and the soundproofing is abysmal. Around 4 or 5 AM, I was woken up by the loud noise of staff pushing carts, and at 10 PM, there was still a carnival-like party happening in a nearby park! The breakfast restaurant reeked of night market BBQ, making my eyes sting so much I could barely keep them open! The showerhead was rusty; I didn't even dare to shower. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted, and I woke up freezing in the middle of the summer night. And how small was the room? The central AC unit (installed on a beam) dripped water onto my leg in the middle of the night!!! The hotel's car exit requires staff to manually check each vehicle, and their attitude is terrible! The room layout is incredibly confusing; it took ages to find my room every time. The hotel management is chaotic, with no oversight at all – anyone can go up to the guest room floors. Plus, there's absolutely no food nearby! All regular delivery services are over 10 kilometers away! The closest options are just the night market stalls downstairs delivering to your room! Oh, and every evening, the entire hotel downstairs transforms into a long night market street, full of BBQ. My hotel balcony faced this BBQ street directly, and the smell was unbearable!!!

The room is small, and the bathroom is even smaller – a large person wouldn't even fit. The moment I opened the door, there was a musty smell. The only good thing was the decent service.

It was pretty good overall, I'd say. The hotel actually offers views from three sides. This time, I stayed in a mountain view room and was told that if I wanted to switch to a room facing the ancient town or the other side, I'd have to pay an extra 120 RMB! So, I was stuck with the mountain side! The pricing isn't transparent! You can only watch the fireworks from outside the hotel. Considering its location within the scenic area, it's already one of the best value-for-money hotels. The kids had a blast; the hotel is huge, and the scenic area is so big we couldn't even see everything! We'll definitely be back!

The Dragon Dream Oasis Hotel Taihu is incredibly good value for money and a top choice for accommodation within the resort. It's a huge hotel, with clean and compact rooms that are fully equipped. From the balcony, you can enjoy views of the Taihu wetlands and the ancient town at night, and even watch the fireworks show directly – it's a fantastic experience. The location is excellent, right next to the Taihu Performance City and within walking distance. There are also free shuttle buses within the park connecting to places like the Grand Circus, making getting around very convenient. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied, offering a good selection of local specialties. Packages often include tickets to the Performance City and the Animal World, plus parking, which really maximizes the value. It's highly recommended for families and friends traveling together.

The shower didn't have a door, so water sprayed all over the toilet. The curtains didn't block out the light at all, and I woke up super early. The air conditioner was incredibly loud, like a tractor! It was just like any other standard chain hotel.
