We sincerely apologize for the presence of hair and cups in your room, dust on the furniture, and discarded items in hard-to-reach corners, as well as the long wait for someone to arrive after calling us. Regarding your feedback on the slow service response, it was during staff mealtimes, and other available staff were providing room service, preventing us from arriving at your room immediately. We will never use this as an excuse. Although we were unable to arrive immediately, we contacted hotel management to seek solutions and avoid further delays. Our staff then quickly finished their other room service duties and went to your floor to address the issue, proactively contacting you to discuss remedial measures and expressing our sincere apologies. Regarding the language used by the front desk when they questioned you, our intention was to confirm if you had any other simultaneous requests and to understand your specific needs as quickly as possible. However, our wording may have been harsh and lacked empathy, failing to consider your current frustration and discomfort, causing a secondary negative experience. We will conduct more training on polite language for all staff to address this communication issue. Following the incident, the hotel implemented two corrective measures: 1. Guest Room Cleaning: The entire process of room cleaning has been strengthened and upgraded, and the room inspection system has been refined. A three-tiered room inspection mechanism has been implemented: cleaning staff conduct self-inspection → floor supervisor conducts comprehensive re-inspection → housekeeping supervisor conducts surprise inspections. After each room is cleaned, cleaning staff first conduct a self-inspection of all areas, then the supervisor checks hidden corners such as tabletops, cups, under the landline phone, under the bed, and corners, and finally the supervisor conducts random inspections daily. Only after all three parties confirm that the room is satisfactory can it be released for sale. 2. Special Disinfection and Registration of Key Items: High-frequency contact points such as water cups and teaware, landline phones, bedside tables, tabletops, and the area around trash cans are listed as key inspection items. 3. Special Inspection of Left-Behind Items: Cleaning staff are required to remove items that obstruct the view, such as landline phones, ornaments, and edges of bedding, during cleaning to thoroughly remove any items left behind by the previous guest, eliminating any private waste, hair, or dust remaining in blind spots. II. Staffing: We have adjusted staff meal schedules to stagger peak hours, and have designated personnel on duty for the room service hotline during peak/shift change periods. We strictly adhere to rapid response standards to avoid long wait times for guests. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused by this mistake and have reflected on our management shortcomings. Going forward, we will maintain higher standards in room hygiene and 24/7 service efficiency, and sincerely hope to regain your trust.
