I was so hot at night i couldn’t sleep. This is a huge problem with all these hotels in China with central air conditioning. There is some man who decides what the temperature should be for the whole hotel……like in EVERY room. Can not adjust the temperature. My room was probably at 27° the whole time. I can not sleep unless it’s at least 21°. HUGE problem, and I can never stay there again…..because even in the winter, the “man” decides how hot every room should be. The only way to try and beat the system is to open the window, and hope it gets cool enough. I’ve lived in China for over 12 years, and have stayed at 100s of hotels. I know better, and I should have stayed at a cheap hotel with independent air conditioning where I am in control of the room’s temperature. Staff were great, and one the front desk could speak English, and the parking lots was super convenient. Everything about the hotel was great, besides the fact that I couldn’t sleep…..which is really the only reason anyone stays at a hotel.
