Zhongwu Hotel

Absolutely loved this hotel! It's expansive, designed in the Jiangnan-style Chinese garden aesthetic, with stunning views at every turn – truly a feast for the eyes. The staff were polite and attentive. It's a shame I couldn't get a reservation at the Chinese restaurant during the holiday, but I'll definitely choose to stay here again to enjoy the beautiful scenery and delicious food. 👍

Stayed here for 2 days and got a free room upgrade with a partial lake view. The environment is absolutely stunning, and the room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The Chinese restaurant's dishes were delicious; every dish from their Black Pearl menu was outstanding. You can take a shuttle from the entrance to visit Jiuyuan.

The hotel upgraded our room and even gave my child toys and a comb as gifts. When my child started crying at the kids' play area, the front desk attendant was incredibly gentle and even gave them a small gift to calm them down. Later, when we were leaving, we wanted to take the shuttle to Jiuyuan, but it was too sunny, so the driver took us on a scenic tour by car instead. We had a great time and were very satisfied.

I've been to Changzhou many times, and I usually stay in the city center. This time, I was booked at the Zhongwu Hotel. As soon as I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful Jiangnan garden scenery. While strolling around, I discovered a exquisite garden hidden within the hotel called 'Jiuyuan.' It's known as the 'ceiling of Changzhou gardens,' with nine uniquely styled garden pavilions like Jianjia Zhuang, Zhiwo Xuan, and Xingju Ge embedded within. Every step offers a new beautiful view, showcasing the elegant charm of Jiangnan. The hotel also thoughtfully provided a free travel photoshoot. After putting on a Qipao, every shot turned out to be stunning. I highly recommend it to all my sisters who love taking photos. There's also a Black Pearl restaurant inside the hotel, so if you're too lazy to go out, you can easily grab a meal nearby. It was truly a perfect trip.

Huge thanks to Abigail! She arranged everything perfectly for our stay, meals, and activities. We (two adults and one child) checked in before noon, headed straight to the kids' play area, then enjoyed lunch at Yu Xiu Fang. Afterward, a shuttle took us to explore Jiu Yuan, and we had a buffet dinner at the hotel. The next day, we continued our adventures. The environment, cleanliness, and service were all absolutely fantastic!

The views at Ambassador Hotel are truly amazing, especially with such great weather. We made a last-minute decision to come, and the kids loved it too. The hotel's amusement park was a lot of fun. We didn't get to eat at the Black Diamond restaurant as it requires a reservation, but the dried radish fried rice we had was still pretty good!

The hotel environment is fantastic, right next to Jiuyuan. Upon check-in, we received 5 complimentary travel photos. The photographer was very professional, not pushy at all, and delivered the photos quickly – highly recommended! My phone was running out of storage, so I didn't take any room photos, but I've included a few travel photos instead. Here's my review of the hotel: The room was spacious, with elegant classical decor and very new facilities. It was bright and clean, and even the basic room type came with a bathtub. The sofa had a chaise lounge, the side table was convenient for tea, and the desk not only had a spotlight but also a desk lamp with multiple brightness settings. The entire room was well-lit, and the thoughtful details made for a very comfortable stay. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and odorless. As someone with a bit of a潔癖 (germophobia), I inspect the hygiene immediately upon entering, and I couldn't find any faults – very satisfied. The service was warm and attentive. We received complimentary welcome fruit, and when we called for water and a bathtub liner, they were delivered promptly. Breakfast was delicious; there were several toppings for the noodles, and I especially loved the beef and the poached eggs with sauce. There was also a wide variety of breads, with the bread pudding and vanilla sauce being particularly tasty. Unfortunately, I went a bit late and only got to try a tiny bit. Upon check-in, we also received complimentary movie tickets or passes to the children's play area. We didn't have time to go this visit, but I heard the hotel's pool and gym are also excellent, so I'll try them next time. Overall, it offers great value for money. People of all ages can have a comfortable stay. Parking is convenient, making it very car-friendly. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Changzhou next time. Looking forward to my next visit!
