Upon arriving to the hotel, the front desk staff were very friendly. Although this is my first time in China and I was unsure of check-in procedure, they quickly got me through check-in and made me feel quite relaxed almost immediately. During my stay, I ordered room service nearly every evening and although I speak no Chinese, the staff were very patient and helpful to make sure that they were receiving my order correctly. The view from the rooms is incredible and the service at the hotel has been great. I highly recommend that if you are visiting Changzhou for business or pleasure that you stay at the Marriot Hotel in Xinbei district. It is also very centrally located with easy access to entertainment, shopping malls, restaurants and the light rail stations to travel to other cities in China. Additionally, the restaurants, pool, outdoor basketball court, coffee shop, and other services in the hotel make it a convenient place to stay if it is your first time in China or Changzhou as it is mine. For work related reasons my trip in Changzhou was extended and I have enjoyed my stay at the Marriot hotel so much that I decided to extend my stay here and upgrade my room to include the executive lounge (totally worth it if you stay here, it's like having access to an Emirates level lounge with a view every day). In summary, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely, and the services provided make your stay very convenient! I highly recommend staying at the Changzhou Marriot in Xinbei District during your time here!

I didn’t want to type, but unfortunately the front desk checked out and didn’t ask me about my stay. Then I can start on the platform and say something. 1. Can you consider changing the position of putting slippers in the room because you bent down to get the slippers and will be hit by the hanger above every time you stand up? The clothesline in the shower room may be a furnishing. My 162 is completely out of reach 3. The bathroom has such a large space and such a large dressing table is empty, even the small makeup mirror is not put, but it is installed next to the sink. 4. There are two bottles of water in the room. I called the switchboard at around 00:19 in the evening to ask for water. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone three times. I can sleep. 5. Wake up in the morning and call the switchboard for water. By the way, ask her if there is no one at the switchboard at night. She asked me what time I called. I said that at 12 o'clock. She said that someone picked it up at that time. I said, okay, that is, no one answered my phone, no apology, and I said that I was right. Please trouble the hotel to check the recording. It’s really the first time I have encountered such a bad attitude. 6. At noon, I went swimming. At the front desk of the pool, the little girl frowned and threw me a piece of paper for me to register. I filled out the room number and name and was about to sign. She said it was okay! ? ? Did you let me fill in? Then I gave me the locker key and it ended. I looked arrogant and cherished words like gold. I didn’t tell me how to get to the locker room. Finally, I asked. I was impatient and didn’t want to work. I didn’t know if there was any monitoring there. I could see her expression. The most outrageous is coming! There is no lifeguard in the pool! ! ! I was really shocked! A family of four kept taking pictures in the pool and no one took care of it. There were no towels on the pool lounge chairs. The pool was not equipped with any water (not to mention the water in the dressing room. There were towels. I said the pool). The most outrageous thing is: there is a glass on the ceiling of the pool that is broken! ! ! God, your pool is really just a display! It's really just a pool for guests! It's not for the safety of guests at all! 8. The sticky cloth strip of the hair dryer is offline! Isn't this the hotel that opened last year? ! 9. There is no welcome fruit on the day of check-in. Call the switchboard to ask and be told that you need to be a Marriott Platinum member or above to have fruit... Marriott such a large group also treats guests differently according to the level? ! Because the grade difference is different, the fruit is different. I can understand this, but it is not a member. There is no fruit. It is a bit of a saying. It may be really I don’t understand because I don’t live in Marriott. Fortunately, a manager called me back in time and arranged fruit and breakfast. Thanks to him. In summary, I will not come again. I advise everyone to avoid lightning. The next door is Atour. The price is still high.
