This seems to be a small boutique business. The workers were nice and try to be accommodating as much as they can, but staff are limited in number. Please be aware that the building you get might be a different building. I booked with the understanding that the inn had an elevator in the listing. However upon arriving we were told we would be in a different building without elevator.
It is within Paifang Jie which means streets are closed to cars most of the day. You could be walking 15-20 minutes from car drop off with heavy luggage on uneven streets with obstacles like cracks and barriers to prevent cars, without ramps. Not recommended for elders. The hotel doesn't have a way to come pick you up and the independent operators of manual bike carts don't have anywhere to put your luggage. The street is crowded with both pedestrian and people on motorbikes, dangerous for pedestrians.
The inn itself like many other China hotels has steps at entrance without railings and between rooms, and some pathways are filled with gravel/rocks, not suitable for rolling luggage. Photo is of the disposable towel which seems to be common for inns in China. Language wise, the staff spoke Mandarin，and some do not speak Teochew. A plus is the smart sitting toilets, hair dryer, water included, access to the street with lots of food options. It is nice if you plan to spend many days on Paifang Jie and don't have accessibility needs.
