Lane Nanyang Yingyue Hostel (Archway Street shop, ancient city of Chaozhou)

This guesthouse was a wonderful surprise for our trip to Chaozhou with the kids! The room setup was thoughtful, and the host enthusiastically recommended local eateries. Its location within the ancient city is perfect, allowing easy walking access to all the sights and snack streets. The cleanliness and service were especially good, making for a fantastic travel experience.

Our stay was a delightful surprise! The B&B is right inside Chaozhou Ancient City, so we could walk to all the attractions, making dining and shopping super convenient. The room was bright and clean, and we could even soak in the tub while enjoying views of the ancient city. The rooftop and public areas were also perfect for photos. Staying here made our trip both hassle-free and enjoyable.

This hotel is truly excellent, I love its retro style – the ambiance is absolutely fantastic! The hygiene is great, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wonderful view, allowing you to soak in the ancient city's charm right from your room. They even provide complimentary local snacks upon check-in. Soaking in the bathtub was incredibly relaxing. Staying here definitely added a special touch to my trip.

The room has a unique decor, is fully equipped, and very clean. The surrounding area is pleasant with fresh air, and the staff are friendly. Check-in was also quick.

Step right out and you're at Paifang Street, Guangji Bridge, and all sorts of Chaoshan snack shops. It's perfect for a leisurely stroll through the old town or an evening walk, no need for taxis back and forth. Great for short trips, couples, or anyone who loves an old-town vibe. Many guesthouses in old residences feature traditional Chaoshan courtyards and tea sets, offering a chance to experience the local slow-paced life and capture some atmospheric photos.

The overall experience exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and tidy, and the location was excellent, with most tourist attractions nearby, making it convenient for getting around. Great value for money!

The hotel has a wonderful Nanyang retro vibe. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views, and the room comes with a bathtub and is clean and refreshing. The package also included tea, delicious food, and a Hanfu experience, making for some truly amazing photos. It was a rich and delightful stay.

The room design is excellent, with a 'New Republic of China' style. It started pouring rain as soon as we arrived in the ancient town, but luckily, the guesthouse staff member picked us up in a golf cart. The guesthouse service was fantastic; they also provided various tour guides for the ancient town. Staying within the ancient town and wandering through its old alleyways really allowed for a better experience of its cultural charm.

The elevator setup is very thoughtful, so you don't have to worry about climbing stairs. The courtyard on the ground floor is secluded and quiet, and the casual book bar is tastefully designed. You can relax and unwind by sitting in the rooftop garden or brewing a pot of tea in the tea room during your leisure time. It's also very close to the attractions in the ancient city, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing.
