Chao·Song Ju·Guesthouse (Paifang Street Branch, Chaozhou Ancient City)

Stepping in, I was immediately struck by the aesthetics! It's not one of those flashy, 'influencer-style' places, but rather understated, timeless, and tasteful. Every corner is spotless, and the attention to detail is exceptional – it makes you just want to linger. It's also very close to Paifang Street, and you can take a taxi directly to the entrance.

The service was incredibly thoughtful (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)👍. Even before we arrived, the concierge called to confirm our estimated arrival time, whether we were driving, and if we had any special requests. They sent us the location in advance and guided us to the parking spot upon arrival, even turning on the AC for us beforehand... The attention to detail was impeccable. The environment was exactly as described on the website, with a beautiful garden landscape that my elderly family members absolutely loved. The courtyard was also perfect for taking photos. There were several breakfast options to choose from, all featuring delicious local specialties. If I had to find one minor fault, I'd suggest the owner add more lighting around the mirror area, which would be very helpful for those of us who wear makeup.

Went with a friend's family, it's a very quiet and comfortable place right in the ancient town, next to the pedestrian street. The decor is Song dynasty style with a traditional feel, very unique. It's perfect for a slow-paced trip, just strolling around.

This guesthouse is in a great location, right in the ancient city, and very quiet. It's very clean, and the soundproofing is excellent, which is a major plus. There are two old longan trees in the courtyard, already full of fruit, making the overall environment very comfortable.

Great location. Uh, the washing machine was really convenient when we arrived at night. Ah, it's right inside the old town. Compared to Youxiong, the value for money is definitely better, but looking at it on its own, the facilities are quite good, and the bathroom is nice. I don't have much other impression. It seems like there were two cats too, which was also nice.

The hotel's location is excellent! It's a 10-minute walk from 'Paifang Street Scenic Area' and a 15-minute walk from 'Guangji Bridge'. The hotel is relatively quiet at night, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, which is very convenient! The bed is large enough and the firmness is just right, so you won't wake up with a sore back! The toothbrushes provided by the hotel are of good quality! The courtyard on the first floor of the hotel is small, yet elegant. There's a free coffee machine at the front desk, and you can choose one breakfast item upon check-in! The owner even helps with luggage, the service is fantastic! It was a great travel experience!

The B&B is brand new, with clean rooms and a classical style. The two century-old longan trees in the central courtyard add a touch of charm. It's located at the end of Paifang Street, away from the bustling core of the ancient city, which means you avoid the noisy crowds. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay.
