We checked in on a rainy evening, and Wu, a very kind gentleman from the hotel, specially waited for us at Guangji Gate Tower. He met us under two ancient banyan trees. We had an 88-year-old grandpa and grandma with us, along with a wheelchair and luggage. He truly was a warm-hearted person, calmly guiding the elderly as they walked slowly. During check-in, Xu, a lovely lady at the front desk, thoughtfully made sure the elderly sat down and brought them tea, making for a smooth check-in process. Wu then went back out in the sudden rain to pick up our driver. The hotel is brand new, with excellent facilities and a superb location. The breakfast features authentic Chaozhou specialties, and the chef, a wonderful lady, was very attentive and enthusiastic. When we checked out, a kind gentleman and a tall, beautiful lady from the hotel thoughtfully escorted the two elderly guests all the way to their car, which was parked under the banyan trees by Guangji Gate Tower. In my gratitude, I didn't get their names in time, but thankfully, I managed to snap a picture of their backs as they moved, truly touched by their kindness. The hotel is in a prime location, right inside the ancient city. They arranged luggage transport for both check-in and check-out, which was a great convenience. The rooms are quite spacious, and the facilities are modern and well-maintained. The layout is practical, new, and clean. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, being just a two-minute walk from Guangji Tower and Guangji Bridge. Shopping and dining options nearby are excellent. The only drawback is the breakfast – there's very little to choose from, even less than what you'd find at a rural guesthouse, and it's certainly not enough to fill you up. I really hope they improve the breakfast; everything else was truly excellent.

Extremely satisfied! The location is superb, and the environment is lovely. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend everyone to stay here in the future. The service was also very thoughtful, and the front desk was incredibly accommodating!

This guesthouse exceeded our expectations! The location is absolutely fantastic, right on the central axis of the old town, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Just 100 meters to the right from the entrance is Guangji Bridge. Downstairs, you'll find A Bin Hotpot, Mingji Fish Sashimi, Leiji Rice Noodle Rolls, and Yangfan Bakery – a one-stop shop for all the local snacks. The hotel service was also beyond five-star; they offered free drinks and fruit, plus complimentary ice cream, all of which were high quality. A special shout-out to the breakfast – the beef and pork meatballs were a hit with my whole family. We even asked the housekeeper for the purchasing link when we left, they were seriously 10 times tastier than the ones at the hotpot restaurant!

The location is fantastic; it's easy to walk everywhere. The room was very stylish, and the toiletries provided were excellent, making for a pleasant shower experience. Everything was great except for the fact that cars can't pull up directly in front of the hotel. If you don't have a lot of luggage, it's not an issue at all.
