DC Hotel Charleroi Airport is a solid choice for a quick overnight near the airport. The rooms are ok, soundproofed, and equipped with essentials like flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the on-site refreshments in vending machines with variety of drinks, crisps & water, bar offered a decent evening option & continental food - meh 🫤
While it’s marketed as close to the airport, walking isn’t really feasible—expect to use the shuttle or pay for a taxi (around €20) Please book transfers in advance with hotel as they will ensure the driver is there waiting for you on arrival. Travelling onwards, there is a train station withing 10 miles.
There aren’t any shops nearby, so if you’re hungry, ordering via Uber Eats or Just Eat is your best bet.
Ideal for a no-frills, one-night stay before an early flight. Convenient, quiet, and straightforward.
Stayed on our way to F1 Franchochamps, loads to do and sight see, maps available and book excursions in advance as they tend to either be fully booked or long wait.

We arrived rather late because o the road works around Brussels. When we finally arrived we had to wait at the desk, because the people at the bar got precedence. Got the key to the room, and the code to the enclosed parking. The room was clean, so was the bathroom, the bed a wee bit soft. We didn't use breakfast, as we had to leave before it was served. (Sorry, no photographs)

I highly recommend it! Very unreliable! I chose this hotel to catch an early flight. The hotel has a shuttle bus service, which is not free and costs 20 euros. But what's too much is that the bus will not be on time and will be late! Very unreliable, and does not respect the time of people who are in a hurry.
I made an appointment for 6:30am, but when I left at 6:58am, the bus had not arrived yet. I called 3 times and they said they would arrive in 10 minutes! ! There are many guests at the front desk, waiting anxiously! !
Moreover, this place is very remote! It is very close to the airport, only a 10-minute drive away, and it is very difficult to get a taxi! ! Many guests took a taxi, but only a Chinese couple succeeded and took me, and the guests behind had no car! The Chinese couple and I still didn't catch the flight, not to mention others!
The front desk is open from 7 to 22 o'clock, and the rest of the time is self-service. The shuttle bus operator only knows French, not English.
The hotel seems to be next to the airport. If you want to walk, you have to go around for 50 minutes, and the car also goes around.
and, this budget airline airport, if you can avoid red-eye flights, don't choose it. Try to check in online, collect money on site, and self-check-in requires downloading an app + to find the ticket information. Tickets booked through agents are basically difficult to check in through the app. The airport toilet charges money, and the space for queuing for security check is very small. Red-eye flights are during peak hours, and the queue is very long. A Chinese couple checked in successfully but they didn't catch up with the boarding!
