Hotel Richemont

Beautiful new hotel and warm and friendly staff members. The rooms are spacious, well planned, and attractive, and the location of the hotel is perfect for walking anywhere you want to go in Charleston.

A wonderful stay at Hotel Richemont! If I could, I’d give this hotel six stars! I had an amazing stay at Hotel Richemont. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming – they truly made me feel like part of the family. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the location was perfect: peaceful yet close to everything. A truly outstanding experience that I can’t recommend highly enough. I’ll definitely be coming back!

From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded our expectations. I was celebrating a birthday and had a birthday gift delivered before my arrival. Matthew was very sweet and helped me with the delivery. The package was in my room when we checked in. The hotel staff also included a gift for my birthday! It was local sweets & a coffee cup. I was impressed with their thoughtfulness. The reservation, check in, and checkout devices were easy. Our special requests were honored with smiles. We had our luggage stored for most of our check out day due to a friends late flight. The room was gorgeous and we loved the outdoor space. We were in Room 205. We appreciated the southern hospitality. There was delicious coffee & croissants in the morning. The location was fantastic. What made the experience a 5/5 is the staff. Their attention to detail was appreciated. Every employee was enthusiastic & friendly. It was clear that they loved working at this property. I recommend that you book soon & stay that extra day. You won’t be disappointed.

From the second I stepped into the hotel lobby I felt welcome. I stumbled upon this hotel while planning my trip to Charleston and it did not disappoint. I arrived before the 3pm check in time and to my surprise I was able to check in and get settled into my room right away. I booked two separate days under two separate reservations and the hotel staff asked if I wanted to combine the reservation into one so that I would not have to check out after the first night. I did have to get my key redone in order to get into my room on the second day as it did not let me into my room. This was not a big deal as the front desk staff were aware of my booking situation and immediately completed the process. The staff was immediately available via text for any immediate needs. The staff were very responsive and would answer within a minute or two. The restaurant (Asian) on the first floor was very busy- must be very good. I was able to snag a last minute reservation on Sunday night, I however opted to go somewhere else. I stayed in the double queen room with a little outdoor patio- awesome aspect to enjoy. The weather was a great change of pace as I am used to very humid weather. The location (off King street) was perfect as it is walkable to almost everything on Charleston. I was able to walk to Liberty square, the market, rainbow row and other must see places around. I would definitely recommend to others and will come back again in the future if I visit again. I loved everything about my stay at this new quaint, quiet hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating from start to finish. It’s a smaller hotel, but it was cozy, and the location is perfect — just a short walk to historic downtown. Overall, a great place to stay.
