Parson Inn

LOVED my stay at the Parson Inn! It's one of the best kept secrets in Charleston for a beautiful & charming suite nestled in the historic downtown area, with a number of tasty restaurants in walking & biking distance in the neighborhood. Yep - they have bikes avaliable too! It's right off the highway & easy to get to. My suite was very clean, beautifully decorated, cozy, with a fabulously comfortable bed & lots of amenities provided by my hosts. Loved being able to relax on the porch right outside my suite in the late evenings. Free parking off the street. All this for a price that beats any upscale hotel in the city. Much thanks to my hosts for a truly relaxing & wonderful stay! This is where I'll be staying everytime I visit Charleston!

We stayed here to attend our son's wedding. The location was quite far from King Street and all the popular destinations. We used Dash a few times, but mostly had to call an Uber to go anywhere. The bathroom is a wet room, which is intended for the entire area to be able to get wet. I don't understand what advantage this is. After taking a shower the entire floor was wet and had to be dried before anyone could go back in. There was a problem with the air conditioning unit in the bedroom but Karen was very responsive and quick to get a repairman.

Stayed in this AirBnB in Charleston downtown, very close to main attractions and shopping and guided tour locations. Three adults stayed in Home 2, a queen size bed and a pull-out couch and private bathroom. My mom’s birthday weekend was made all that much better because the hosts Karen and Marcus have thought of everything in this unit. The place has nicely decorated, with a small but efficient kitchen, dining and sitting area. All the decor shows nice Charleston touches. The unit provides, towels, linens, dishes, bottled water, and you have all the comforts of home. This one stays booked, so reserve early!
