Motel 6 Charlotte, NC – Airport South

I can’t describe the smell in this hotel!! It’s filthy and it should be against the law that they are able to take your money and tell you your booking is non refundable…. What!!!?? The location is not safe! The room smells like smoke, updated rooms looks nice but I can’t get past the smells. It’s like spraying perfume over funk. There are drug ******* hanging all over this hotel, customer service is very very poor and watch how they leave a reply under this review as if they have taken care of the situations! They should be ashamed of this establishment. They should be locked up for false advertisement and Highway robbery!!!

Dangerous and not clean

This has already been expressed, but I will add my 2 cents. This place is disgusting. I can’t believe Motel 6 allows their name in this dump.

Area is so bad Homeless and unsavory characters everywhere I didn’t even stay the night Beds felt itchy without a hour of being there Do not stay

There were vagrants and hooked all over the property. Because of this, I was forced to book at a different altogether. I can’t understand how ******* can list this property. Apparently they and Motel 6 have dropped the ball on vetting the place. it is unsafe for travelers and I will go out of my way to steer anyone away from booking there. I am also demanding a full refund.

Surrounding areas are very scary and hotel has very very bad smell. Room is very dirty and spend 6 hrs with tension. So, i cancel my 2 days stay and stick to one day only. And still very terrible. I won't recommend this anyone.

The room was dirty, the doors it's broken no water hot in the bathroom. The staff was the only good in this place

Rooms and hotel were in horrible condition, couldn’t even sleep there.

Had no issues with the room, just the cleanliness of the environment, the parking was so small, too many homeless people roaming around too. However the staff were okay
