MB GALLERY CHATAN by THE TERRACE HOTELS

We stayed at MB Gallery Chatan by The Terrace Hotels for our first family trip abroad with our toddler. Because we were anxious parents travelling with our child for the first time, we have had to make several requests such as having necessities shipped to the hotel before our arrival, requesting for a crib, high chair and a diaper bin for the room etc. MB Gallery Chatan has been very accommodating and provided everything we have requested for. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and the kitchenette area in room we stayed at proved to be very useful. We also had a rental car, there is ample free parking right at the entrance of the hotel. We also saw some EV charger parking spots available. One thing to note however, is that the rooms do get quite noisy at night. There is room for improvement in terms of soundproofing. The hotel is situated near American Village, so you may hear the sounds of cars/motorcycles zooming past in the middle of the night. The room also gets very bright when the sun comes out, so if you like to sleep in or are sensitive to light it's something to be mindful of. Otherwise it was an overall pleasant stay!

The hotel is great, room size is very good and very clean. Breakfast is ok but not great if comparing to those international hotel brand.

Overall service and hospitality were significantly below expectations for a hotel of this caliber. The most serious issue involved our Trip.com booking. When we inquired about the charges related to our 6-night stay, the staff became immediately defensive, repeatedly stating they were not responsible for any third-party charges, and even mentioning a few times to avoid 3rd party platforms as 'they are crazy'. This attitude did not help resolve the matter, and ultimately, I was charged twice for the full stay. The staff's handling of this critical financial issue of a hotel guest created considerable stress and made us feel extremely uneasy and poorly treated throughout our visit. Furthermore, the breakfast was underwhelming. While the restaurant setting was elegant and comfortable, the food quality felt notably cheap and did not match the hotel's high-class positioning.

Room is on the smaller side but with a good balcony. The decoration and greens in the hotel were incredible. Lots of food and services are available which made our stay quite enjoyable.

It’s a very nice hotel for family. We’ll come back again next time.

Nice hotel with good service. The location is nice and near the American village. The view from the window is awesome.

Great location - just a street next to the American village, which has a variety of food options nearby and touristy stuff to do! Amazing breakfast - the hotel offered a few main course as breakfast options complemented with a salad bar. Taste of food was delicious! Stylist hotel design - the interior of the lobby is very artsy and spacious. The hotel room is nicely furbished with comfy colours and modern designs as well. Overall I had an amazing stay in there.
