Karin und Sydney sind die besten Gastgeber, die man sich wünschen kann. Das alte Gehmäue wurde eigenhändig mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und restauriert, mit Reiseandenken aus Übersee ausgestattet und jedem Zimmer seinen individuellen Charakter gegeben. Die Betreuung duch die beiden ist einzigartig. Einen Reiseführer vor dem Aufenthalt lesen ist sinnlos. Karin und Sydney kennen sich bestens aus. Angefangen von der schönsten Autostrecke bis zum besten Parkhaus und einem schönen Restaurant, haben sie für jedes Vorhaben ihrer Gäste einen tollen Plan. Vom selbstgemachten, alles andere als französisch-spartanischem Frühstück habe ich noch gar nicht erzählt... Es war wunnderschön im La Parare. Wir hoffen auf ein Wiedersehen.

Mon séjour à la Parare a été à la hauteur de mes espoirs. J'ai pu m'y ressourcer, dans la chambre "jardin", très paisible. Le premier soir j'ai pu écouter depuis la petite terrasse de la chambre le concert de jazz qui se jouait au village, j'ai tout de suite lâché prise de la frénésie urbaine ! La rénovation de cette ancienne bergerie est impeccable et respecte l'architecture traditionnelle et saine. Les choix de décoration sont très inspirants. La piscine, avec un traitement d'eau sans chlore, est superbe et l'eau n'est pas du tout agressive pour la peau. Un délice de s'y baigner le soir la nuit tombante : on y voit même la lune au-dessus des montagnes tout en nageant. Les petits-déjeuners sont délicieux et permettent de commencer la journée enthousiasmé. En note finale, un dessert maison est proposé, différent chaque matin. Cette petite surprise matinale rend vraiment heureux ! Enfin, discuter avec Sydney et Karin aura été très intéressant et enrichissant, notamment sur le thème des rénovations de maison. Je recommande à tout le monde un séjour de détente, lectures, discussions, baignades, marches à La Parare.
