"I booked a corner king room, and it was incredibly spacious. The hotel's direct access to the mall was super convenient. But the best part was definitely the swimming pool – the indoor area was spotless and well-managed. Spending the summer lounging at this hotel was just perfect."

"Everyone, avoid this hotel! This is my first time leaving a negative review for a hotel. 1. The service attitude was absolutely terrible. From the moment I checked in, I said ”Hello...” but the staff didn't even bother to respond with a ”Hello” back and had a sour face the entire time. In the service industry, there should be a basic level of politeness! 2. Check-out is at 11 AM, and check-in is at 3 PM. This is an absolutely outrageous, one-sided policy. I didn't notice these times when I booked. Isn't anyone going to address this? 3. The hotel's so-called ”free shuttle” requires booking a day in advance. There was no mention of this when I checked in. You have to ask about everything yourself! It's completely hit-or-miss. 4. The young staff at the concierge desk were also unhelpful and made things difficult for guests. The next day, they wouldn't let me bring my luggage on the bus, claiming it was too big. It was just a small carry-on suitcase, how big could it be?! I said, ”Yesterday, I confirmed with the concierge staff that I could bring it on the bus.” Then the tall, slender concierge kept questioning, ”Which staff member? What's their name? Who told you that?” Am I supposed to remember the name of every staff member just to take the bus? 5. We booked a standard room, and the bedside table in the middle was as shown in the picture – make of it what you will. The soundproofing was also poor. All in all, everyone should seriously reconsider staying at this hotel! Afterwards, I searched for negative reviews about this hotel to see if anyone else had the same terrible experience. It turns out the news about this hotel is truly shocking."

"To us it was so convenient being able to easily walk to the hotel from the airport. The hotel was clean and the breakfast buffet was quite good. However the room was definitely showing the ages with the furniture fabrics almost giving some smell. What really disappointed us was the fact that the swimming pool closed too early at 8pm - we really wanted to use some pool time to relax. It is a transit hotel being so close to the airport so you thought the pool should be opening 22 hours a day."

This is absolutely perfect for anyone coming to Hong Kong to shop, explore, and enjoy the local cuisine. Now, about the room. For Tsim Sha Tsui, where space is a premium, the room size here is definitely on the larger side compared to other hotels in the same price range. It felt spacious and never cramped. The decor was also very comfortable, elegant, clean, and tidy. The service was the most pleasant surprise! The front desk staff were incredibly warm, professional, and checked us in very efficiently. They even kindly upgraded our room for free, which instantly made the experience fantastic! Overall, it offers excellent value for money. From the location and service to the quality of the stay, everything was impeccable. I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"The hotel is conveniently located at 33 Hennessy Road, Hong Kong Island, and easy to find with navigation. It's well-connected with public transport, including buses and the MTR, all within a few minutes' walk. Some floors were undergoing renovation, but it didn't significantly impact my stay. The room size was quite generous compared to similar hotels, and the environment was clean and hygienic. The staff were all very friendly, and the check-in process at the front desk was quick. The hotel also offers free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, which is a great bonus. While the breakfast and afternoon tea didn't offer a vast selection, the quality was excellent and generally catered to different tastes. All the staff were very welcoming, and communication in Mandarin was seamless; any requests were promptly addressed. "This has been my go-to hotel in Hong Kong for years. It's located inside The Mira Place shopping mall on Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, less than a 10-minute walk to Harbour City, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The hotel entrance is a bit hidden, but as soon as you approach, someone will open the door for you. Even at 3 PM, you might not get a clean room right away, which shows how popular it is. The only thing missing is a bit of warmth in the service. The rooms come with complimentary bottled water, though they're a bit stingy with tissues. Aside from the pillows being just okay, everything else is quite comfortable. If you're an early riser, you can head down to B3 for the gym and pool. The facilities are very well-maintained."

Hotel near Sai Wan and Sheung Wan,Hong Kong
ibis Hong Kong Central and Sheung Wan Hotel offers stunning Victoria Harbour view. Located in the heart of Sheung Wan, the hotel has a tram stop outside the door, and only a 5 min walk to HK Macau Ferry Terminal and 8 min to MTR. Visit our Starbucks for a coffee hit before embarking on a historical tour along Hollywood Rd and to Man Mo Temple, museums and art galleries. SOHO, with modern style restaurants and bars, and PMQ and Tai Kwun, the redeveloped buildings for art and culture are just 15 min away. From the International Airport, please take a bus (Cityflyer route A11) and get off at Macau Ferry Terminal. the hotel is just 5 min away. You can access to High Speed Rail by MTR and Express Bus in approx. 40 min.

"The hotel's location near Sheung Wan station, with a tram stop and the Macau ferry terminal right in front, made sightseeing incredibly convenient. Having a Starbucks and a delicious dim sum restaurant nearby was also a huge plus. Although the building was old and the bed was hard, the room was clean, the shower water temperature was easy to adjust, and the harbor view was satisfying. I was also happy to find slippers, which are rare in hotels outside of Asia. However, while the staff were generally polite and helpful, I had an unpleasant experience when picking up my luggage after checkout. I had left it with them to explore a bit more. When I returned, a middle-aged male staff member with glasses told me to 'get in line,' even though I had already informed them of my pickup time when I dropped off the luggage. There were other people waiting, and I understand the importance of queuing, but I was in a hurry to get to the airport. After explaining my situation, they did retrieve my luggage, but his reluctant attitude was irritating. What bothered me most was that he didn't even ask why I was in a hurry, treating me like an 'inconvenient foreign guest who couldn't communicate.' I believe all guests want to make the most of their sightseeing time and will pick up their luggage accordingly. I've traveled to many countries, but I've never encountered such a response before. If it weren't for that incident, I would consider it a good hotel. Being treated like that just as I was leaving was very disappointing."

"Our stay at The Emperor Hotel Causeway Bay in Hong Kong was absolutely fantastic! As soon as my daughter walked in, she said she loved it. I immediately started taking photos and posted on social media about how wonderful and elegant this hotel is. We were on the 29th floor, and the large window offered stunning views of Victoria Harbour. The ceilings are high, and they provided toothbrushes, soap, coffee, and tea. On the second day, we even received a complimentary bottle of mineral water. The front desk also offers free tea, coffee, and newspapers. This hotel completely shattered my preconceptions about Hong Kong accommodation being expensive and small. The Tin Hau MTR station is super convenient for getting around. On our last day, when we stored our luggage, they even gave us two Ferrero Rocher chocolates as we left – so polite and incredibly thoughtful! My daughter and I both agreed that we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Hong Kong! Several parents who saw my Hong Kong trip photos have asked me where we stayed, and I've been recommending The Emperor Hotel Causeway Bay without hesitation! You can really see how much we loved this hotel from my photos!"
