Cheap Hotels in Shishi

"I booked this for a client, and they absolutely loved it! They mentioned it was excellent value for money. The room was really big and spacious, with a great view. The hotel facilities were comprehensive, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. Definitely recommend!"

"Grand Honor Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Shishi, but it’s not quite the same level as a luxury hotel in a bigger city. Generally the hotel is clean, but it’s the little things that I noticed, ie when I checked in, there were some sweet wrappers next to the bowl of sweets that weren’t cleared away. That said, the sense of space is evident in the hotel lobby, lifts, corridors and most importantly, the hotel rooms. Rooms are very spacious and well-designed, although the closet area can definitely do with brighter lights. Most amenities are provided but what put me off is that many items that would have been free in other hotels at this price-range aren’t free at Grand Honor. There is a Chinese tea set on the table and usually the loose leaf tea is provided for free but it cost ¥15 per packet. Honestly it’s not a lot of money for us, but on the flip side, surely the hotel can provide a bag of tea leaves for their guests. There are the standard free single-use packet tea in the drawer so at least there’s that. In-room slippers are not to be taken out; they’d charge you if you do - and that’s fine, but the slippers are actually really uncomfortable to wear. The small plate of fruits (banana, plum and mandarin) given at 5pm every day is a nice touch. The hotel breakfast is probably the highlight. Set on the 22nd floor with panoramic views of the city, breakfast is very enjoyable. The food quality is pretty good, but a real surprise here is the sheer diversity of food. The bread selection alone has 5-6 choices (pastries, brioche, baguette, square toast, etc), the cooked food section is almost endless (and there’s cooked Chinese vegetables! 👏🏾) and then there’s the fruit selection at the end too. My only gripe is that the coffee machine is a bit slow, and there’s only one machine so there can be a wait for coffee. Location of the hotel is a little odd; good restaurants and the main mall is about 15 mins’ walk away. There aren’t many good shops to wander around nearby. Generally, this is a solid hotel for this price point. Excellent service with very fast food delivery (using the ubiquitous delivery robots) and friendly front desk staff."

"It's quite convenient to find food around here, and takeaways can even be delivered right to your room, which is super handy. The staff are very welcoming, and the room was spotlessly clean. Zhuzhou is a very comfortable place, and I highly recommend staying at CC for a relaxing experience."

"Good location, good view, very large room (I booked a 2-level room with 99 square metres on a high floor), good room rate, breakfast quite good, except I don't like to take a shower inside a bath tub which had blockage. Overall, it is very good."

"It's about a ten to twenty yuan ride from Quanzhou South Station via ride-hailing to this hotel, which is located in the heart of Shishi's old town. You can walk to Bagua Street and the Bell Tower within twenty minutes. Most guests seem to be business travelers, with a few foreigners sprinkled in. This is an established four-star hotel. The facilities have a nostalgic feel, but everything is still perfectly functional. There are power outlets on the nightstand, but no USB ports. And I'm not sure why there were 'safety items' being sold right by the bed! 😄 The front desk staff and the linen service were all very polite. The lobby offers complimentary coffee, and the free afternoon tea consists of a few small cookies and pastries. Breakfast is extensive, and the local peanut soup and Mianxian paste (rice vermicelli paste) were quite authentic."

The breakfast was very rich, especially the grilled steak and pork chop, which were cooked in advance and were very tender and delicious. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to and from Dehui, which is right next to it, and there are many dining and shopping options."

The room was also very nice and spacious, with smart curtains, a smart toilet, and a heated toilet seat. We used this hotel to decorate for my partner's birthday party, haha. "My stay in the King Room at Shishi Lvdai International Hotel was absolutely perfect, far exceeding my expectations. The front desk staff, particularly Yasi, was incredibly kind and polite. Check-in was efficient and straightforward, without any unnecessary delays, and she even thoughtfully provided information about local transportation and dining options. The room itself was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable – not a speck of dust or any unpleasant odors in the corners. The king-size mattress was just right, not too soft nor too firm, and the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin. The blackout curtains worked wonderfully, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, with a strong and consistent hot water supply, and the toiletries provided were comprehensive and high-quality. The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient for getting around by taxi, shopping, and finding places to eat. The public areas were grand and spotless, and service responses were prompt. This hotel is ideal for both business travelers and short leisure trips, offering incredible value for money. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shishi. Although the hotel is a bit older, everything in the rooms is still in good condition. The toilet is even a smart, sensor-activated one, and there's a computer in the room. Breakfast on the 29th floor was also quite good. Overall, it's excellent value for money! 🤞🏻"
