"A great hotel for those seeking peace and quiet. It's located on the opposite side from the noisy port (about a 15-20 minute ride by horse cart or bike). You can rent bikes directly from the hotel, which is super convenient for getting around the island. The beach in front of the hotel is rocky, so you can't go into the water without water shoes. The grounds are very beautiful, and the sunsets at this hotel are truly the best on the island."

"Location: Private and beautiful beach. Not great for swimming or snorkeling (due to the tide) but beautiful for sunsets. In general it's in a more quiet, less crowded area. However, there are lots of restos, beach cinemas, and a small grocery store in walking distance. It takes ~15-20min to drive to the other side of the island where the harbor, the night market, and lots of bars are located. Rooms: Spacious. Clean. Everything as described. Comfortable beds (mattresses are not extremely soft, but rather a bit hard). The terrace is really nice. Food: Breakfast was very delicious. It's not buffet, but the portions are really good and definitely sufficient. Every breakfast includes tea/coffee, juice, water, and pastry. Service: All staff was overly kind and friendly. Room service up to 2 times a day (with homemade cookies every night). Bikes are for rent - prices are the same as everywhere else. Bikes are a bit run down - but so are most bikes that we've seen on the island. We recommend staying at the hotel."

"I really liked the hotel! It's located on the beachfront, which is very convenient. There's a restaurant on the beach, a movie theater, and movies and cartoons shown every evening. You get separate towels for the beach or pool. The hotel buildings are large, two-story, with a long pool between them. The rooms have a mini balcony and a window, which brings in plenty of light. There are blackout curtains. The room is spacious and has everything you need: a large bed, a comfortable mattress, large blankets, and pillows. There's a kettle, tea, and coffee. The shower and toilet are modern, and everything is clean. They clean every code day, which is good. 👍 The air conditioning is clean, fully charged, odorless, and works perfectly! There's one caveat: the Wi-Fi didn't work in the room on the second floor for two days, but it started working on the third day. Breakfast in the morning is served in the restaurant overlooking the sea. The buffet offers a wide variety of food! It's delicious! The staff is very polite, professional, and friendly! I'm happy with my stay! 👍"

"If you want to stay close to the harbour and right where the atmosphere is lively, Villa Ombak is a great choice. It’s only about a six-minute walk from the harbour, so everything is easy to reach without being right in the middle of the crowds. The staff were genuinely lovely and very welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. You get the best of both worlds — close enough to walk to where things are happening, yet still peaceful enough to relax. I stayed in one of the traditional Lumbung huts and it was absolutely beautiful. Just something to note — the bathroom is downstairs via a small staircase from the bedroom, so it suits someone reasonably mobile. The shower is outdoors, which actually adds a really nice tropical touch and makes the experience a bit more unique. Under the bedroom there’s also a bale (a shaded lounging space) where you can unwind, read, or sneak in an afternoon nap — honestly, very easy to lose track of time there."

"Excellent location. It's a one-minute walk to the sea, and you get gorgeous sunsets right on your doorstep. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is large and comfortable with a stylish interior. There are only 20 rooms, making it a small and cozy place. Like most hotels in Indonesia, there's an issue with room cleaning; you often have to remind them to change the linen, and the towels can be stained. Another downside is the window screen in the bathroom—it makes it very hot during the day, lets insects in, and loud music from Rabbita often blasts through. Overall, it's a good, comfortable hotel. We stayed for 6 nights."

"A beautiful cabin, well presented in a lovely quiet side of the island. The pool is open 24/7 and the staff are incredible jolly and helpful. They have an optional breakfast in the mornings and a restaurant throughout the day with 20 percent discount for lodgers. They also have a free outdoor cinema in the evenings. They offer bike hires and excursions but you will find cheaper elsewhere on the island. A lovely stay and very affordable!"

"The hotel is super nice. It's small, but very quiet. You don't hear any of the island's partying. The room is large, and the bathroom is fantastic. I booked the hotel with breakfast included and was able to choose something from the menu every day. Bicycles (super new) were available to rent directly from the hotel for €2.50. It's a 10-minute bike ride to the harbor. I would book again. A pool towel can be borrowed free of charge."

"This hotel has a limited number of rooms, and by domestic standards, they're about 3-star quality. The à la carte breakfast was decent, nothing special. The beach right outside is only good for photos; there are strong currents and waves from two directions, so it's not suitable for swimming. It's probably not worth it if the price is over 500 a night."

"The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the pier. Hauling luggage by horse carriage cost 150,000 IDR (approx. 300 NTD). Luggage storage is available. To the left of the hotel reception is their air-conditioned massage parlor. To the right of the hotel reception is their air-conditioned restaurant. In front of the hotel reception, on the beach, are their beach loungers, free for guests. There's a sea turtle that almost always forages in the waters directly in front. Bicycle rental is 50,000 IDR per day. Electric bicycle rental is 250,000 IDR per day, but be warned, the battery dies in less than half a day after only a few uses, and they won't even recharge it for you. This was incredibly frustrating."
