"One of our favourite hotel choices for a short getaway to JB! 😊 Holiday Villa is conveniently located near shopping malls, eateries and massage options, making it really convenient for a relaxing weekend trip. It’s definitely even more worth it when you manage to snag a good deal on Trip.com too! ✨ One thing to take note of if you’ve already prepaid your booking online: do double-check the charges with the front desk during check-in. In our case, we were asked to pay the tourist tax again even though we had already paid it online. A deposit is understandable, but it’s worth checking to make sure you’re not paying the same charge twice. For the bathroom, our room had a handheld shower attached to the bathtub, so showering meant having to stand in the bathtub. We noticed that quite a bit of water could spill onto the bathroom floor, and there didn’t seem to be a proper floor trap to drain it quickly. It may be useful to request a few extra floor towels to help absorb the water and keep the floor dry. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider Holiday Villa again for a convenient JB weekend getaway! 🌴✨"

"Affordable hotel with a spacious room that's able to accommodate an extra bed (at an additional cost of 151.20 RM). Room rates are inclusive of complimentary breakfast for 2 adults. You can add-on at the counter for kids above 6 years old. Hotel is located directly above Mid Valley mall which is very accessible from the hotel. Front desk was fast with our check-in and room service was helpful in setting up the extra bed for us. Highly recommended for short family stays over the weekends!"

"We had a wonderful 3D2N stay at JB R&F Cove 180 Degree Seaview 1BR Unit With Balcony from 20–22 June 2026. The location is excellent—just a short walking distance from the CIQ JB custom, making it very convenient for travellers coming from Singapore. The apartment is also located right beside R&F Mall, so food, shopping, and daily necessities are easily accessible. There's even a 24-hour coffee shop right below the apartment, which came in handy for late-night snacks and early-morning coffee. The unit itself was perfect for a couple's getaway. We especially loved the quiet and peaceful sea view from the balcony. Waking up to the calming scenery and sea breeze was truly relaxing. Although the washing machine does not have a dryer function, the strong sea-facing wind allowed our clothes to dry completely overnight, which was a pleasant surprise. That said, having a 2-in-1 washer-dryer would make the stay even more convenient and save guests’ time. For those who prefer their laundry dried quickly, there is also a laundromat conveniently located right below the apartment near the 24-hour coffee shop, making it an easy alternative. The kitchen was well-equipped with a proper refrigerator featuring both chiller and freezer compartments, as well as a microwave oven, which was a big plus point for us. The living area also came with a Smart TV that supports Netflix and YouTube, making it perfect for a relaxing movie night after a day out. One possible improvement would be the addition of a water filter dispenser, as it would provide even greater convenience for guests during their stay. Check-in was seamless and hassle-free. A friendly staff member personally escorted us from the check-in counter to the apartment, making the entire process smooth and welcoming. We didn't have enough time to try out the condo facilities such as the swimming pool, gym, and sauna, so we're unable to comment on those. However, getting around was very convenient. We booked Grab rides to Angsana Mall for a spa massage and to X-Park for go-kart and ATV rides, and both journeys were quick and hassle-free. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The apartment was comfortable, well-located, and offered a peaceful environment for a relaxing getaway. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Johor Bahru. Highly recommended!"

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay. It’s within walking distance from City Square Mall and Tan Hiok Nee is just a few steps away across the street perfect if you want to do some café and old-school restaurant hopping. All the basic necessities are available in the room. My only concern is that the ceiling fan and AC need to be serviced and cleaned, as you can see some dust buildup on them."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great stay at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru I had a really pleasant stay at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru. The room was spacious, clean, modern and very comfortable. I especially liked the apartment-style layout and the kitchenette, which made the room feel more like a home rather than a typical hotel room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the room was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities were also great, especially the swimming pool, gym and laundry facilities. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service made the experience even better. The location is also convenient, especially for those travelling between Johor Bahru and Singapore. It is close to JB Sentral and CIQ, although depending on the current road conditions, walking may not always be the most convenient option. Overall, I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Spacious room, good facilities, friendly service and a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru! 😊"

"Hotel located very close to the checkpoint area. Nice room with a decent amount of space, staff were helpful with all queries. It’s right next to a small mall with eateries available plus supermarket and a Watsons at basement level. Easy to get cabs to go elsewhere in JB. Hotel check-in counter is on level 5. Small gym and pools available on level 6."

"I had a great stay with a wonderful view of the ocean and Singapore skyline. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of choices to suit different tastes. The dinner selection was somewhat limited, with several dishes already empty, although this was likely because I arrived later in the evening. Other than that, I had a very enjoyable stay and felt it was an excellent value for the cost. I would definitely consider staying here again."

"One of the best hotel here in Johor Bahru. Highly recommended. The staffs are friendly and they really help you if you have any concerns. I love the view of the hotel outside and inside the room. The room is very big with bath tub and when you open up the curtains you can experience to view the city of Johod Bahru. I will definitely come back to Grand Paragon Hotel Again if im going to JB. Thank you for the free buffet I really ate alot and the foods ang superb delicious 😊😊😊"
