As an economy brand under Wyndham, the hotel is generally clean and tidy. While the rooms are designed with simplicity in mind, they offer ample space and good natural light, and all essential amenities are provided. The staff are quite enthusiastic, and check-in and check-out processes are quick. There's an international restaurant on-site. While the breakfast selection isn't particularly luxurious, it's perfectly adequate for a simple daily meal. If you're visiting Kota Kinabalu for leisure or business and looking for an affordable, well-located, and brand-backed place to stay, this is a very practical and comfortable choice."

"The hotel was unique in its design. The room was spacious for 3 and the interior design of the room was great. Toilet, bathroom and bathtub were separated and we had all face no problem when we need them Breakfast however was slightly below expected, the fruits were not so sweet and the cereals was a let down. It does not taste like original coco crunch and corn flakes. But other than that other food were okay for hotel level. On the service, all the staff there were excellent and I had a wonderful stay throughout and ya they do also provide laugage storage in case you have a later flight. It could have been awesome shall there be swimming pool available which were allowed for homestay residence only But overall, I do love this hotel in terms of their service and design. ."

"I stay here 2 nights as I came to Sabah to join ultra trail run. The staffs are amazing and this hotel is near to the hotel I take bus to running starting point. The distance to the downtown is short also. Easy to get Grab car. Highly recommended for those who want quiet hotel from the noices in the city."

"The hotel is very convenient as it is just few steps away from the shopping mall where everything is easily accessible. However, the cleanliness of the room and all the facilities is below my expectations. I think renovation is needed as this is a 7 years hotel"

"Room size is decent, and the facilities are generally fine. No toothbrush or hairdryer in the room, but the front desk brought one up when I called. Housekeeping: On the 27th, they said it was a holiday and wouldn't be cleaning, so I just asked for a fresh towel. They didn't clean for the next few days either; I had to specifically ask them to clean the room. Environment: It's not soundproofed at all. The road outside is very noisy, and there were motorcycles revving loudly late at night. Couldn't sleep without earplugs. Service: Overall, the service was quite good. They were very responsive to requests."

"This was my third time staying at the Kaseh Hotel in Kota Kinabalu, and I brought my mother along for a trip. As always, the stay was incredibly satisfying! Service: The front desk staff were warm and helpful, offering check-in services in both Chinese and English. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of dishes that my mother particularly enjoyed. When cleaning the room, they always replenished necessary disposable items and even helped tidy up clothes on the bed and toiletries in the bathroom, which was very thoughtful. Cleanliness: The hotel was clean and tidy, with daily room cleaning service. Environment: The location is extremely convenient. Taking a Grab to city attractions is always within a ten-minute drive, making it easy to get to Sutera Harbour for island hopping and Gaya Street. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's only about a ten-minute Grab ride from the airport, so there's no need to wake up extra early to catch a flight. Getting around to and from the hotel is very convenient. Facilities: As always, the facilities are complete. You can take hotel towels with you for island hopping and snorkeling, just remember to return them. There are plenty of drying racks, perfect for hanging clothes. There's also an outdoor swimming pool. Hope to see Kota Kinabalu again next time!"

"This hotel is perfect for a first or last night stay when flying directly between Taipei and Kota Kinabalu. We were very satisfied with everything, and it offers great value for money. All the hotel facilities are excellent, especially the swimming pool, which exceeded our expectations, and its poolside bar is truly cool and beautiful. The food and drink prices are also very reasonably cheap! Highly recommended!"

"This hotel experience exceeded all expectations! The location is excellent with convenient transportation, and the room is spacious and clean with comfortable bedding that helped me sleep soundly. "Facilities: The room was small with only one chair, which wasn't very convenient for a double room. There were two pillows, both identical and very high, causing me neck pain – not good. Cleanliness: Initially, it seemed okay until I found oily stains on my bedsheets... clearly not something I caused. (See picture P3) Ambiance: It's a hotel converted from a bar, which is decent. The winding corridors reminded me of a hotel from a dream. Service: Average. I arrived early, and they charged 70 MYR for early check-in... While I know some hotels have this policy, it was still quite frustrating. Location: It's a bit far from attractions, requiring a taxi for 5-20 MYR. Gaya Street is 5-8 MYR away, and the beach can be 22 MYR when it's busy. It's close to the airport and in a Chinese district. I crossed the road daily to eat at a Chinese Muslim restaurant opposite, which was quite tasty."

"I chose this hotel for my business trip and the location was absolutely perfect, just a ten-minute walk to the conference venue. The first thing that caught my eye when I entered the room was the view outside the window; you could see the entire landscape, and the vista was exceptional. All the facilities in the room were new and complete, the bedding was just the right firmness for a very comfortable sleep, and the desk height was perfect for my laptop. I stayed for three days and was very comfortable every single day. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I'm in the area 🏨"
