Chelmsford (Springfield)

Ok place to stay , but rooms very hot, so had a uncomfortable night, don’t normally book a hotel with no AC, so be prepared for a hot night

A very comfortable 2 night stay at this Premier Inn. Pleasant staff & a good cooked breakfast. Shout out to Jordan, Joe & Jon....efficient & attentive service. Thank you.

Stay at this Premier Inn regularly. Always kept very clean and the room we stayed in was recently refurbished with a really good shower. Staff always friendly here. Only gripe is the £8 parking fee without any discount for Premier Inn guests.

No aircon and as we were in a heatwave the bedroom was incredibly hot Very good staff and the meals were fine The restaurant however had all the appeal of a 1950's works canteen. Not a patch on the traditional Beefeater

Beware of the £8 parking charge. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, so they can become very hot on warm days, although there is air conditioning in the bar area. The hotel was clean and tidy overall. The room had a kettle, but as there were three guests staying, only two cups were provided. A nice touch was the vanity shelf and mirror by the door, which the my children absolutely loved. Overall: Clean and comfortable, but the lack of air conditioning in the rooms and the additional parking charge are worth considering before booking.

Stayed here on a couple of occasions when the city centre Premier Inn price had been too much to pay so opted for here instead. Hotel rooms have recently been renovated and are clean and comfortable. Can be a little noisy from the A12 and train line however nothing overly major. Restaurant on site although not eaten in the evening so cannot comment although breakfast was fine. Continental breakfast is self serve and cooked breakfast is done so to order. Reception staff friendly and there is a McDonalds and BP with M&S food outlet next door to hotel.

Lovely hotel. Easy to find and close to a lot of areas. Good sized rooms. Very clean. Has everything you need. Served lovely breakfast. Good value for money.

What a lovely and clean hotel stay. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was yummy & lots of variety. The sleep was perfect!
