Novotel Chennai Sipcot

The food was average, and the staff seemed more focused on collecting reviews than on service. For example, within 10 minutes of our arrival for dinner, a staff member approached us to ask about the quality of the food and service. We explained that we would provide feedback after finishing our meal. However, another staff member soon came with a QR code, again requesting us to rate the restaurant and the staff. It felt as though the hotel management was pressuring the staff to obtain customer reviews, which made our dining experience uncomfortable.

stay was good, location surrounded by lot of eateries and close to sipcot park and can travel to ECR or mahabalipuram. Can touch down to kelambakkam / vandalur road quickly. Have not sign up for breakfast, decent for family 2-3 days stay

Disappointing Stay Overall 1. I arrived at 11:30 AM and asked if an early check-in was possible so I could freshen up before heading to the office. They gave me a lower-grade room without informing me. Thankfully, I noticed and declined it. 2. When I returned at 2 PM for the standard check-in, they tried to assign me the same lower-grade room again. 3. The so-called "garden view" turned out to be a construction site — very misleading and disappointing. 4. Breakfast was average, but the service left much to be desired. Coffee wasn't available until after 7AM, and despite requesting sunny side-up eggs on two separate mornings, they were never prepared. 5. Dinner service was chaotic. There were limited options, it was extremely crowded, and there was no staff managing seating or checking room entitlements. It felt like anyone could walk in, grab food, and sit anywhere. I couldn’t even find a table to sit!

Nice hotel, good location and friendly staff

It is a good stay. This is our 2nd time staying here. We chose here for 2 reasons; breakfast and value for money, but breakfast wasn't as good as it was during our first stay. Front staff were good, especially Aadhi and Samporna. Check-in and out were smooth. In room dining food was good. The room was soundproof, good, clean, and adequate with amenities, Thanks to Jittu, who takes care of that floor, and he is friendly too. Adyar A2B, Nandhana's, shopping shops, near to beach. Just note that it is pretty far to many popular places in the city, especially during peak, traffic can get chaos and take almost an hour but a good place if you are visiting mahabhalipuram or en route to Pondicherry. Overall, I recommend it. Nice stay.

Hotel is good location is not great but you avoid traffic. There were some issues with room, which hotel quickly changed.

It was very fascinating stay. The staff was super friendly. Buffet was another level. Highly recommended stay.
