房間的裝修風格是比較傳統的中式特點，看着有點復古，但並不陳舊。早餐在一樓，不是太豐富，可能是冬季的原因，畢竟人去的少，不像夏季去避暑山莊的遊客很多。停車場有幾十個停車位，現在停不滿，還對外收費開放，一天50元，住宿客人是免費的。酒店的路對面就是武烈河，河岸下面有人行步道，風景不錯。

從酒店的名字就可以看出酒店有些年頭了，是一個老牌4星級酒店，以前應該是幹部入住的地方，規模很大，集餐飲和住宿一體，餐廳很大，有幾層樓，我們在那裡用了晚餐，味道和價格都可以；酒店地理位置優越，在武烈路上，路對面就是武烈河，周邊是大的街道，餐飲和商場都很多；酒店設施確實比較舊，但都保持得比較好，從大堂到走廊到房間，設施雖顯老但依然能看到當時的奢華大氣；床品很乾凈，燈光控制在床頭桌上類似一個座機的東西，我還找了半天；吹風筒確實象網上所説的，需要拿着整個座來插電，洗手間沒有乾濕分離，淋浴衹能站在浴缸裏，這對長者來説不大方便，另外洗手間地漏出水慢，洗完澡有點積水。酒店的員工還是很正規的，在接待方面使用的都是規範的語言。總體來説還是物超所值的吧！

這次是第二次到承德市，首次入住雲山飯店，在網上訂房間非常方便，當時衹是關注能免費停車，到飯店非常驚喜，大堂寬敞衞生，前台2021號接待熱情，提前就辦理好手續，到店就入住，房間寬大明亮，經濟實惠，三星標準一星價格。

這是一家老牌的涉外飯店，1988年開始做歐美入境旅遊，我在90年代、2000年初期也曾經帶團住過，這次路過承德還是選擇住在這裏，雖然略顯老舊，但是還是很乾凈的。不足的地方，就是衞生間的插座和吹風機是壞的，打電話到前台，她們説知道這個事情，並告訴我，到房間內找其它的插座吹髮，既然知道是壞的，但是也不維修！拖着吹風機座吹髮，也是頭一次。商務大床間，衹有一邊有插座和燈光調節，睡在另一邊的人很不方便。第二天7:20到餐廳用早餐，咖啡機是壞的，問服務員，她也知道，就説用不了，早上想喝杯熱咖啡的人不少，提意見的人多了，過了十幾分鍾才有服務員來打開擦了擦，就能用了。7點開餐，但是7:20取餐時，熱食基本都快涼了。早餐種類不多，味道一般。
