A well-designed and spacious room, well-appointed, modern, great bed - special mention for the toilet, spacious and thoughtfully designed. The overall property is good and well maintained, breakfast spread is pretty good with good variety and quality of food. As chengde is not a big city, it was easy and cheap to get cabs to go everywhere.

Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was good enough for what we needed, but not spectacular.

Friendly and helpful staff (besides the unusual covid mafan that you get anywhere in China, especially as foreigners).
Clean and modern rooms.
Areas for improvement: the air conditioning in all our rooms was too warm: blowing out hot air even though it said 16°! And the breakfast is only passable.

The hotel is new, therefore very clean and tidy. The breakfast has plenty of choices, Chinese and Western style as well. The reception ladies are nice. Was no problem to communicate in English, especially with Summer. Her English is excellent and she is very kind and helpful. I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Chengde.
