Holiday Inn Express properties in Chengdu

My overall stay exceeded expectations! The room was meticulously cleaned, with all the tricky spots taken care of. The bathroom had stable water pressure and quick hot water. The soundproofing was good, so it was very quiet at night. The staff were polite and patient, and responded promptly to any requests. Getting around and finding food nearby was very convenient, and the facilities were comprehensive. Definitely recommended.

This is a very professional hotel with excellent service. The hygiene is also great, especially the cleanliness. The environment is very child-friendly, and my kids loved it. The facilities are also excellent, and the bedding is of good quality. The location is very convenient, with a subway station right outside the entrance. It's also easy to get a taxi. It's not as crowded as Chunxi Road, which makes for a very comfortable stay.

The room wasn't cleaned properly; there were hair strands left behind. The soundproofing in the room was terrible! You could clearly hear the sound of water being used in the bathroom upstairs.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location – close to the airport. I stayed at two different hotels near the airport, one on the way there and one on the way back. This one offers poor value for money and isn't as good as the hotel next door. Facilities: Average, and the room was quite small. Also, the mini-fridge is an optional extra, so make sure to check that when booking. Service: Very average, not as friendly as the hotel next door. The difference was quite noticeable. Cleanliness: Acceptable.

My First Time in Chengdu-Truly impressed by the outstanding service I had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Express Chengdu Tianfu Square during my first solo trip to Chengdu from July 26 to August 1, 2026, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. She checked me in quickly, professionally, and with genuine kindness. When I entered my room, I was delighted to find a thoughtful welcome gift waiting for me. It included: A Chengdu tourist map A panda-themed hand fan A reversible plush toy featuring both a red panda and a giant panda A handwritten welcome card from Ms. Jennifer A guest service information card These thoughtful gifts made me feel very special and showed how much the hotel cares about its guests. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the young gentleman working in the breakfast restaurant who was clearing the tables. I asked him if he could take some photos for me, and he happily agreed with a warm smile. He patiently took many photos from different angles, and they all turned out beautifully. I truly love those photos and will always remember his kindness. In addition, I would like to thank the housekeeping lady who took excellent care of my room throughout my stay. She cleaned the room perfectly every day. Even on the day I chose not to have housekeeping service, she still kindly collected my trash and replenished the items I needed, such as hand soap and tea. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail meant a lot to me. Another thing that impressed me was that the hotel was completely free of cigarette smoke. The clean and fresh atmosphere made my stay even more comfortable and relaxing. You made my first solo trip to Chengdu a truly unforgettable experience. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit and will gladly recommend your hotel to my friends and family. This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious and bright, with a sophisticated and design-forward decor. The bedding is exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff are warm, attentive, and very responsive, making you feel right at home. The breakfast spread is extensive, offering a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. Overall, the cleanliness is superb, not a speck of dust anywhere. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to the area. Highly recommended!

The stay at Holiday Inn Express was very comfortable. The breakfast toast with butter was very nice! Especially when checking out, ”Ailce Tian” at the front desk was very friendly and kind, and gave each of our colleagues a cute little panda! Thank you!

This stay was a truly pleasant surprise! The location is super convenient, really close to the concert venue. The lobby decor is very tasteful, and staff member Xiao Geng was incredibly thoughtful. The room was more spacious than I expected, and the bedding was super comfortable – they even had soft and firm pillow options, so I slept soundly all night. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, and the water pressure was strong and consistent, washing away all my fatigue. If I ever come back to this city, this will definitely be my first choice.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. It's conveniently located right by the Second Ring Road, with direct access to both the BRT rapid transit and Metro Line 3. Hongpailou Plaza is right next door, offering a wide variety of dining options. If you walk west along the Second Ring Road, you'll find an Ito Yokado, a Japanese department store with a fantastic food supermarket on the ground floor. The rooms are very clean, and the TV offers free on-demand movies. The staff are also incredibly friendly and polite. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's definitely enough to fill you up. All in all, for the price, the value is unbeatable.
