The hotel lobby is very beautiful, the staff are amazing and will do everything they can to help you. Everything is very clean and the room itself was great. The only downside is the location. It’s technically quite central, but not really in the middle of everything, and the surrounding area isn’t particularly interesting. To get to the nicer places, you need to walk to the metro station. It’s a little too far to walk to most attractions. However, purely because of the room and the hotel itself, I would book this hotel again without hesitation, regardless of the location. I really enjoyed my stay. A special thank you to Xiao Wang, who was incredibly kind, helpful and always had a lovely smile. She made my stay even more pleasant and was always happy to help. Thank you so much, Xiao Wang! ❤️

I chose the LOUIS High-Altitude Hotel for my trip to Chengdu this time, and my overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. The room was spacious with fantastic city views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The decor is simple yet elegant, and the smart home system was very user-friendly. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathtub by the window created a great ambiance, and a bath after a busy day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. The butler service was attentive and responsive, and the check-in process was smooth. The soundproofing in the room was also good; despite being in a bustling area, it was very quiet. It's suitable for both couples and friends traveling together. I would consider staying here again on my next visit to Chengdu and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

The hotel is quite run down and shabby. It shares a building with other hotels and the downstairs lobby is very worse for wear. The Reception area (which is on floor 15) is, odd, featuring a fake swimming pool as seen in some of the pictures. It's not well laid out and the lifts themselves are in a really bad state, with stained carpets, outdated materials and blaring adverts. The staff are great and very helpful, however the rooms have seen better days. The washing machines are also publicly accessible and then also mandate that you do not wash socks and underwear in them. Unfortunately despite the great staff the hotel was the worst part of Chengdu for us.

The stay was great! The bathtub was huge and beautiful, with an amazing view. The bed was super soft and comfortable. After a shower, I enjoyed watching SpongeBob on the big TV all night. What a delightful evening!
