Rezen Dong Hotel (Chengdu Jinli Wuhou Temple Branch）

An absolutely wonderful stay! It's incredibly convenient for exploring the Three Kingdoms historical sites like Jinli Ancient Street and Wuhou Shrine, as they're within walking distance, saving a lot of travel hassle. The room was cozy and well-appointed, with all the facilities in great condition. The toiletries were high quality, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The service throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out, was attentive and made everything very comfortable. To have such a great experience in this location, the value for money is truly unbeatable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu!

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the subway. Plus, there are police officers stationed outside, making it feel very safe. However, the hotel uses central air conditioning, which made the room feel stuffy. If you open the window, it gets really noisy because of the road below. The service attitude from the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff was subpar. What's more, even though I had the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on in the morning, housekeeping still knocked on my door saying they needed to clean. It seems the 'Do Not Disturb' sign is just for show; they still disturb you. The cleanliness was generally acceptable, but the staff definitely needs more training on service quality, especially for a 4-star hotel.
