Somerset Riverview Chengdu

The location is fantastic, very close to Chunxi Road and the Chengdu Museum, surrounded by Michelin, Black Pearl, and 'must-eat' restaurants. It's a full-service hotel apartment, with all rooms located on the 16th floor and above, offering amazing views. The rooms are equipped with a washing machine, drying rack, and microwave, and there's a swimming pool and a professional gym available. The bathroom fixtures are from German brand Villeroy & Boch, definitely top-notch hardware – it feels like a classic Ferrari. There are a lot of foreign guests. I stayed for three days and it was incredibly comfortable, truly a home away from home. The service staff were very friendly. It offers great value for money. This place is a hidden gem among hotel choices. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious and the view was great. The service was warm and the cleaning staff were professional and polite.

The location is excellent, about a fifteen-minute walk to Chunxi Road and People's Park. However, the hotel is a bit old and hasn't been renovated. The swimming pool doesn't have a lifeguard, and there's no emphasis on wearing a swimming cap, which I think could be improved.

Facilities: Although the style is classic, the quality is top-notch. The non-smoking rooms are a great feature, and it's pet-friendly. Cleanliness: Very good, rooms were well-cleaned. Location: Close to everything, very convenient. Service: Friendly and cheerful. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Great location, right by the river with unique and direct river views. The rooms all come with a washer/dryer and a kitchen, which is perfect for those who enjoy cooking. Housekeeping is prompt and the service is excellent. While the swimming pool isn't large, it's very clean, which is a big plus.

My stay was just okay. The room was acceptably clean, but the facilities were noticeably old. The furniture and appliances showed significant signs of wear and tear, and many details weren't well-maintained. The front desk staff was rather cold and impatient during check-in, and they didn't proactively offer any information, which made them seem unprofessional. Aside from the convenient location, there wasn't much to write home about, and the value for money was average. I hope the hotel upgrades its facilities and improves its service soon. It also feels like a rip-off for regular guests, as booking through the member app is much more expensive than through Ctrip.

Elegant environment and excellent service. My first stay was in 2011, and 15 years later, the service is not only consistent but has steadily improved. I wholeheartedly recommend it! The entire Somerset team is very professional, from the staff on the first floor to the front desk and room service – everything is perfect.

The front desk service was excellent, especially Cindy. The room was spacious and very comfortable. They also have a swimming pool and a gym. It's a great hotel, and I'll definitely be back.
