Chengdu Yuanheyuan Buddha Zen Hotel

Great Hotel in the middle of the Wenshu Monastery area, quiet area lively during the daytime, not suitable if you are looking for nightlife. For a relaxing stay highly recommended.

Pandaland is kind of first thing that comes into my mind when mentioning Chengdu. We were in this beautiful, mostly out of wood made hotel. The surrounding can be quite sleepy. Not like a night market in some smaller citirs, although I can not say they are not trying.

This hotel has a long history and you can feel it in the charm of the building. The friendly male staff helped us carry our luggage up to our room. One of them even chatted with us about Chengdu’s history — we learned so much and loved the conversation! Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome. We really appreciated the personal touch.

Very well located, staff is very helpful, breakfast was great, and the hotel overall is good.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely neighborhood. Great value. Wish I had spent more time here. Had a little trouble finding the hotel as it's in a pedestrian zone. There are signs but they aren't very prominent.
