Sungold Designer Hotel (Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road, Chengdu)

It's very convenient, just a 10 min walk to the majority of amenities and tube. Room was clean and had complimentary water and coffee, just as basic toiletries. There are literally dozens of small shops, eateries, hairdressers, beauticians and malls in 5min walk range. The staff was polite and helpful.

Overall, we had a great stay at Sungold Designer Hotel. The location is excellent, very close to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road, which made it really convenient for exploring Chengdu. The room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. We especially loved the large bathtub—it was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Our stay at this property was thoroughly enjoyable. The room was consistently spotless and well-maintained, thanks to the diligent daily cleaning service. The staff were wonderfully accommodating, promptly addressing our requests and ensuring we were comfortable throughout our visit. We also loved the prime location—just a stone's throw from the city center, which made exploring all the main sights on foot incredibly easy. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time here. If I could offer one suggestion for improvement, it would be to introduce a buffet breakfast option, as it would save guests the hassle of ordering takeout or heading out first thing in the morning. That minor point aside, this place is absolutely worth the stay.
