Checking in again, I was pleasantly surprised that the front desk clerk seemed to recognize me, saying she'd been there last time. My last name is unique and easy to remember. She knew my preferences, like being close to the elevator and not staying in a Tangtou room. I like the city night view, so I was given a roadside room. She also asked if I wanted to stay in a room I'd stayed in before. She even prepared food recommendations. My last time, I had hot pot, which was a bit spicy, so the Bobo Chicken and Pig's Trotter Soup recommended were perfect for someone like me who enjoys spicy food but is afraid of it being too spicy. Coming to the Mengda Hotel truly felt like coming home. Finally, I have to mention that the room was spacious and quiet, the view from the window was beautiful, and the smart room elevated the entire stay experience!

My friends and I had been wanting to visit Chengdu for a while, and since we were off-peak, I booked the Mengda Hotel because its stylish, minimalist style appealed to me. Voice-activated hotels are my top priority. My mission for this trip was to carefully select accommodations for everyone. I called the front desk ahead of time and requested a quiet room, not too close to the elevator, with a view (i.e., a window facing the road), a spacious room, and minimal roommates. My friend said I was being demanding, but I was surprised the hotel accommodated. I'd seen other guests' reviews mentioning a sleep aid package, which we received without any hassle during check-in. I was so happy! The mattresses were fantastic! I hadn't heard of zero-pressure silent mattresses before. With three of us sharing one, we could toss and turn without disturbing anyone else. We literally couldn't even feel the person next to us tossing and turning! The room was truly quiet. Since our room was on the roadside, we couldn't hear any noise at night. The heated towel rail was also very useful, as was the high-speed hair dryer. I have very long hair, and I usually shower without washing it when I'm out, but this hair dryer dried my damp hair in just a few days. I have to give this hotel a big thumbs up! My friends all praised me for choosing a great hotel this time!

Upon arrival, the front desk attendant enthusiastically gave us a tour of the hotel. Because it's close to West China Hospital, the hotel has professionals regularly perform disinfection and pest control. The room is equipped with an automatic sterilization toilet, Xiaodu smart voice control, a heated towel rail, and more. He then showed us around the room. The décor was lovely, the lighting was soft and atmospheric, and the room was spotless. The pillows were incredibly comfortable! Absolutely amazing! The price was reasonable, a true value, and I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip. Highly recommended!
