Monkey king hotel (xiyouli)

The hotel is conveniently located near Wenshu Monastery subway station, making it easy to get to Tianfu Square, Chunxi Road, and Kuanzhai Alley by subway or taxi. We specifically chose a family room for our summer vacation with our child, so we didn't have to worry about cramped beds. The room was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. Even though it was close to the road, the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. They also have a laundry and drying room, which is perfect for family trips. We stayed for 3 nights, and the hotel staff provided thoughtful service. It offers great value for money. We had so much fun that we completely forgot to try the afternoon tea! 😅

Since the room I booked wasn't ready yet, they proactively upgraded me to a better one, which was fantastic! The room facilities were new and smart, and there was even a mini-fridge. The hotel's location is also great, quite close to Wenshu Monastery subway station, making it convenient for trips to Dujiangyan and Mount Qingcheng.

The room is spacious and the facilities are new, with a large clothes rack which is very convenient. The hallway is wide, and there's a big common area, perfect for sitting and enjoying tea or coffee with family, making for a very comfortable way to pass the time. The breakfast, in particular, is excellent, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western options, and the coffee is good. If you're staying in Chengdu for two or three days, this place is definitely worth recommending – it's very comfortable and relaxing, unlike some other small and cramped hotels.

Overall, my stay was very satisfying! The Journey to the West themed twin room was cleverly designed, with details perfectly matching the Journey to the West IP, creating a unique atmosphere. The twin beds were well-arranged, ensuring privacy for two guests, and the bedding quality was excellent, washing away all travel fatigue. The room's cleanliness was top-notch, with every corner impeccably maintained. Hot water was plentiful, and the internet was fast. The hotel service was thoughtful and meticulous; any issues were promptly resolved. The location was excellent, making dining and shopping very convenient. To get such an experience at this price point was a pleasant surprise, and I've already recommended it to my friends.
