Travelodge Chertsey

Couldn’t go due to having covid and the greedy hotel didn’t even give me my money back!!

This is a excellent Travelodge which has been recently upgraded. Everything is brand new and each room has an air-conditioning. One of the best Travelodge I had been in. Everything was clean and I had a great night sleeps. Parking is limited but if you come before 6 pm you should find a space . The staff is amazing and special thanks to Sameena who help me a lot. She is amazing and so friendly . She is a great asset to this hotel and I wish every Travelodge had more people like Sameena . Definitely will be staying here again. Thank you

My stay was great. I liked the hotel very much. Location was great. Hotel was clean. Staff was very helpful. Sameena was in the reception. She helped us to check in and guided us about all of required info. I will definitely visit this hotel.

I stayed for three nights (too many) and it was grim. Parts of the room were dirty, the AC was broken and flashed all night, practically no toilet roll left on the roll and no spare, other guests had an argument starting at 11.30pm for about 2 hours on and off, location was noisy, need I go on? If you are planning on parking here, no chance. There are hardly any spaces, so you then have to park at Sainsbury’s which is only a short walk but far from ideal with luggage or if you’re a lone female. There are far better places to stay in Chertsey. This place is cheap, but not cheerful.

Really helpful staff and they were ready to help giving out info about the area and things we couldnt find. Rooms were in good standard. Quite and friendly environment. Easy access to the parking and rooms. Will recommend if anyone looking to spend time around chertsey.

We arrives at around 9.30pm and we're completely ignored by the man on reception who was on his mobile phone. Rather than acknowledge us, he got up and left the desk, heading into a room behind it. When he eventually returned and gave us our key, we made our way to the lift which smelled overwhelmingly of cigarettes. We got to our room and the smell of cigarettes inside was again overwhelming. The window was already open and there was cigarette ash all over the windowsill and bed beneath it. Someone had clearly been in there smoking not long before we arrived. I complained at reception and was asked if I would like another room: yes! We were given a different room which seemed cleaner at first, but the bathroom smelled of urine and there was biro and what looked like blood on the shower curtain, and the taps and shower were covered in limescale. By this point we just wanted to get bin bed, following to 2 and a half hour drive, and resolved not to use the bathroom if we could avoid it. We were there for about 12-13 hours in total and that was too long. The only saving grace was the breakfast box in the morning, which was quite nice.

Room not as clean as it should have been and nuisance people congregating outside late at night, quite intimidating whom should have been moved on.

Horrendous! Do not stay here! Wasn’t able to get a space in car park due to skip and white van parked across three bays. Room was smelly, bathroom were dirty and sheets were stained, ended up sleeping on top of bed covers. To top it off, room was on ground floor facing car park, aforementioned white van was parked directly in front of window with men sitting inside drinking till early hours, felt very unsafe and would advise for people not to stay here!
