Hotel Sensai Nimman Chiang Mai - Adults Only Reviews

I deliberated for a long time before booking this hotel for four nights, and overall, I was extremely satisfied. The hotel's location is a quiet retreat amidst a bustling area, surrounded by many great restaurants and cafes. It's about a 10-minute walk to One Nimman and Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center, with lots of interesting small shops to browse along the way. The area is also very safe, and there's a 7-Eleven just a two or three-minute walk away. The hotel has a swimming pool which, while not large, is very comfortable and clean. Since it caters to adults, you're spared the noise that children can make, making it a perfect quiet hotel for couples and friends. Breakfast is à la carte, with a different blended fruit juice offered daily. The menu on each table showcases a wide variety of delicious breakfast options. The portions aren't huge, which allows you to try several different dishes. The hotel rooms are very new, and great attention is paid to detail and cleanliness. There's turndown service every evening, complete with unique small gifts. All non-alcoholic beverages in the room are complimentary. The bathroom toiletries are from THANN, a well-known local Thai brand, and they're excellent. I must especially commend the hotel staff; they are incredibly professional, friendly, and enthusiastic. Their attentive service and proactiveness leave a wonderful impression. From the front desk to the security guards at the entrance, the restaurant staff, and the housekeepers – everyone creates a very friendly and genuine atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel, and I'll definitely choose it again on my next trip to Chiang Mai!

Highly recommended! The hotel is not far from the airport and right by Nimman Road. You can easily walk to many small boutiques, and there is an amazing selection of food options nearby. The room is spacious and impeccably clean. The swimming pool is not huge, but the water is well-maintained and very clean. The heated pool experience was fantastic. The staff are super warm and attentive, greeting us warmly every day and even folding towels into cute elephant shapes. The buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise with great quality. The overall environment is quiet and comfortable, making for a wonderful stay from start to finish!

A very satisfying stay! The hotel is conveniently located near Nimmanhaemin Road, making it easy to walk to Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center and One Nimman. The deluxe room even has a balcony, and the pool is right downstairs. It's a small but exquisite hotel. There's also a Japanese restaurant downstairs, which is a nice option. What I particularly liked was the à la carte breakfast – it's very unique and delicious. You can order exactly what you want (they even provide a menu). The oat bowl was tasty, and the eggs Benedict were delicious! 😋 The service was also quite good; staff always greeted us with a smile. The only downside was the water pressure in the bathroom wasn't very high, and the water wasn't very hot. The first round of the mini-bar is complimentary, with snacks and drinks. 🥤

The hotel is located in the Nimman area, but on the quieter side of the neighborhood. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a peaceful stay while still being in a convenient and desirable location. The room was very clean and incredibly spacious, with a long balcony overlooking the swimming pool. With only 24 rooms, the hotel feels very private and exclusive. The interior design is beautiful warm, elegant, and luxurious while still being comfortable. The layout is also very well designed, with everything conveniently connected. The bed was spacious and very comfortable, and the room had a Smart TV. The bathroom was absolutely huge, with a large bathtub. They even provided a body scrub and bath salts for a relaxing soak. There was also an iron in the room, and the sofa was so large that I could practically sleep on it! Breakfast was another highlight. You can order from a menu with a wide variety of choices. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted great. All of the staff were incredibly lovely, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I parked my car, to the bell staff, reception team, housekeeping, and restaurant staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I was extremely impressed with this hotel and truly enjoyed my stay. I hope to come back again very soon!

We had such a wonderful stay here and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing! Every staff member was incredibly kind and welcoming, from the security guard and restaurant staff to the reception team and the staff taking our food orders. Everyone was always friendly, attentive, and happy to help. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We especially loved having direct access from the room to the swimming pool — it was so convenient and made our stay even more relaxing. The all-you-can-eat breakfast was also absolutely delicious! There was such a great variety of food, and the congee was especially tasty. I looked forward to having it every morning! From the welcome drink to check-in and check-out, everything was seamless and exceeded our expectations. The location was also perfect. It’s close to Maya Shopping Mall and the Old Town, so it was very easy to get around. And the little street food/skewer stall right in front of the hotel was absolutely delicious! We ended up going there every night because we loved it so much. 😂 Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel! It was clean and hygienic, and we had a very enjoyable three-day stay!!! The breakfast was à la carte and absolutely delicious!! The swimming pool was also very clean. It's super convenient to get everywhere.

Hotel Sensai was by far a stand out for us on our holiday in Thailand. I have never met such a friendly team of staff always there when we need them and constantly making sure our stay is as perfect as it can be. We got upgraded to the room with pool access and really enjoyed the spa and swimming. Each night we were presented with gifts as a ‘goodnight’ present which made our stay extra special. The cocktails there are the BEST I’ve ever had and we even recommended it to fellow travellers who also visited for drinks! We HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone wanting complete relaxation, friendly staff, attention to detail and an overall great vibe

The room was incredibly spacious with a charming French tropical decor, and the small balcony added a touch of romance. They offered welcome drinks upon check-in, which was a thoughtful gesture. The surrounding area is super convenient and has everything you could need. The pool was a bit small, and there's no gym. While they can bring dumbbells to your room, the heaviest ones are only 10kg. There's no late checkout option; the latest you can leave is 12:30 PM.

The welcome drink was amazinggg! I also got upgraded to a huge corner suite. It's very close to Nimman Road, so it can be a bit noisy with all the traffic, but the excellent location makes up for it. I stayed for several nights and was very satisfied with the service. The breakfast was delicious, and they served small portions so I could try many different things every day. Downstairs, there's a barbecue restaurant that's highly recommended on Xiaohongshu. Great experience! 🎉

I emailed the hotel beforehand and they replied very quickly, which was a great start. From the moment I stepped out of the car at the hotel entrance, I was impressed. Staff immediately opened the car door and helped with my luggage. I was welcomed with a complimentary drink and a warm introduction to all the facilities. I booked a pool suite. The pool, while not large, was very clean and exceptionally quiet since there were no children around. I'd seen some reviews mention noise, but I didn't experience any during my stay. However, if you're a light sleeper AND your room faces the street, it might be an issue. The hotel breakfast was excellent. My only regret was that, due to the season, I couldn't try the avocado Eggs Benedict. Room cleaning was prompt, and they provided a good range of toiletries. The TV in the room even had Chinese shows and movies, which was a pleasant surprise (tears of joy!). Every day after a full day of sightseeing, I'd return to find a thoughtfully prepared small gift in my room. No matter when I passed the hotel entrance, the security guards would always stand up and give a warm salute – they were really on the ball! There are many great restaurants and incredibly good value massage shops nearby, and a 7-Eleven is just a minute's walk away. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay near Nimman Road! It's absolutely fantastic value for money.
