Mountain View@nimman12 Hotel & Resort

The hotel is located in Nimmanhaemin, very close to Maya Mall and One Nimman. It's tucked away just off the main road, making it very quiet. The hotel looks quite new and all the facilities are clean. The front desk staff are also very nice. I would definitely come back again.

The scenery and surroundings are great, no complaints there. The key is the fantastic location right next to Nimman Road, very close to One Nimman, and Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center is also nearby. You can easily walk or take a taxi to get around.

When I entered the room, the bathroom had a strange smell, and the pillows reeked of sweat, as if they hadn't been washed. Even though the staff changed them, the smell was still very strong! The pool water was incredibly dirty, even green! I don't know how long it's been since they changed it! Not recommended.

Great location, but the planes were a bit noisy. Breakfast was decent, simple but good. They definitely need to improve their Chinese language service in the future!

The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its proximity to the city center; everything else was a complete disaster! This is my first negative review after years of traveling, I simply couldn't tolerate it anymore. ⚠️ A heads-up to all travelers: The hotel has stringent rules, charging an extra 300 THB per night for every additional person in the room. This fee applies even if the additional person is a child. While this might be their policy, we won't dwell on it. Overall, it's not very family-friendly. The facilities are old, and the hygiene is severely substandard. The room was cramped, and the amenities were outdated. Limescale was visible in every corner of the bathroom, indicating superficial cleaning. The public swimming pool had significant limescale buildup on its walls and the water quality was filthy; we didn't dare let our child swim in it. Breakfast options were monotonous, with almost no variety. The service was indifferent, offering no positive experience. Out of our 7-day stay, housekeeping was skipped for 2 days. Mineral water and mini-bar drinks were not refilled proactively. We arrived with a child, and not once did any staff member offer to help with our luggage. The most disheartening incident: Our child accidentally cut their arm, and a small amount of blood got on the bedsheet. The staff showed absolutely no concern for the child's injury, immediately fixating on the bedding and charging us for it. Unpleasant details everywhere. The mini-bar exclusively contained reusable bottled drinks that needed to be collected after consumption, raising serious hygiene concerns. This hotel relies solely on its city center location, while its hygiene standards, facility maintenance, and service awareness are all unacceptable. Families with children should seriously reconsider; I will absolutely not stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone. Moreover, it's incredibly noisy, with sounds of airplanes and bars... If you're a light sleeper, definitely, definitely do not come here!

This is a newly opened hotel, so all the room facilities are quite new. The infinity pool on the rooftop is absolutely amazing, and when night falls, you can sit by the pool and enjoy the nearby mountain views. Kids can play safely in the smaller pool without much worry. The hotel is just a leisurely ten-minute stroll to One Nimman and Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center, and it's also very close to Chiang Mai University. Yesterday, I even found a Muay Thai gym for the kids nearby, only about a ten-minute walk away – it's incredibly convenient! The front desk staff are all very patient, and any issues we had during our stay were resolved perfectly. One of the kind young men speaks Chinese, so communication was a breeze. We originally booked for two nights, but decided to extend our stay for another day right away. My friends' family was also very satisfied!
