Elevator is not available for rooms in the lower block of this old hotel. Breakfast is ordinary. Reception counter is very friendly and helpful.
A good Thai massage parlor, 7-Eleven, large night market and Maya shopping mall are in the vicinity. It takes only 15 minutes from airport by taxi.

Actually I wasn't aware that they have two types of rooms one standard and with lift and the other one normal without lift, so I have got the normal room and when I arrived there they said no lift so everyday I have to claim the stairs.

I stayed for two nights at Chiang Mai Hill. The rooms were acceptable for the price. However, the water temperature during the daytime was excessively hot, likely due to the external heat, which made it little uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was average.

The booked rooms are in a separate building and provide good value for money. Nimman area is close by and so is Maya Mall. For the price paid it's excellent. If you need more comfort book the main hotel building at higher rates. Overall a very good stay.

The place had a good location, very friendly staff, and excellent service. The breakfast was one of the best we've had on our trip. The only thing that needs improvement is the facilities, as they're a bit dated.
