Beautiful little hotel that has such nice decorations inside, it is like an art museum. The staff are very friendly and available. Conveniently located near the Chang Phuak gate. Every night, just across the moat there are a bunch of food stalls serving up Thai street food. There is a swimming pool, but it is not big enough for an adult to swim in, more if you just want to cool off or sunbathe.

Finding a boutique hotel with character and superb decor, plus a swimming pool, in the old town and on the moat for a sensible price almost impossible and yet here it is. Rich Lanna House. Actual value for money. We will be back. Oh and it’s ciffee shop is also excellent.

Staffs are hospitable and helpful for giving suggestions and recommendations to tour around the city.

Great location, lovely interior, clean

Wonderful stay at Rich Lanna. Room was clean & spacious for 2 ppls. We enjoyed the stay and spent most time during day-time. Staffs were friendly & helpful. The hotel was a bit old but they have been maintained very well. Nothing to complain. Will go back definitely.

Anna House is a charming, quaint wooden hotel. Its location is excellent, within walking distance of many Michelin-starred restaurants and popular cafes. The hotel's own cafe has a fantastic ambiance. The hotel's public areas are also aesthetically pleasing, and it even has a private pool. However, the rooms are just average; they're quite small. While clean, there are a few shortcomings: for example, there's no elevator, and we stayed on the fourth floor…carrying our suitcases was a nightmare! Also, the curtains don't block out enough light; if you're sensitive to light and want to sleep in, bring an eye mask… Well, that's about it.

The hotel is in the Nalan style and has a swimming pool. It's a 15-minute walk from Tha Pae Gate and there's a 7-Eleven right next door. The downside is that there's no elevator. They helped me carry my luggage up to the third floor when I checked in, but I had to carry it down myself when I checked out.

My flight to Chiang Mai was late, but I was able to check in late at night, which was nice. The staff were friendly, and the location was great because there were many famous places around the old town. 👍👍

Affordable hotel, friendly staff and good location inside the walls

Located just outside the old city, very close to it, the hotel has a charming Thai-style atmosphere with all-wood interiors. The service is warm and welcoming, and the rooms are well-equipped and spacious, with a small pool perfect for taking photos. The only downside is the lack of breakfast. However, there's a cake and coffee shop right outside, and most importantly, a huge 7-Eleven and a laundry shop are right next door – maximum convenience!
