Friendly & helpful staffs at the boutique hotel, cozy resort style convenient location. Small variety of breakfast options.

The hotel i ms located in a great place near not only the main landmarks but also Nimman neighborhood, which is amazing, at a walking distance. A small but comfortable pool and a good gym. Breakfast is ok, enough variety and quality. We also took a massage from the centre at the hotel, really satisfying.

Hotel is a little bit dated. The room is pretty clean and staffs are pretty friendly

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lanna Oriental Hotel in Chiang Mai. The hotel combines beautiful Lanna-style architecture with modern comfort, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly decorated with local Northern Thai touches. The bed was very comfortable, and all amenities were well-prepared — from the air conditioning and minibar to the bathroom essentials. Everything felt clean, calm, and thoughtfully designed. The location couldn’t be better — right in the Old City, close to temples, cafés, and the Sunday Walking Street Market. It’s convenient yet peaceful, making it easy to explore Chiang Mai by foot or short tuk-tuk rides. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. Their smiles and genuine hospitality made me feel truly welcome. They also provided great local tips and assistance with transportation and tours. Breakfast and facilities were excellent. The variety of Thai and international dishes was fresh and delicious. The rooftop pool was a lovely place to unwind after sightseeing, and the small gym was well-maintained. Overall, my experience was beyond expectations — perfect for both leisure and cultural travelers. I highly recommend Lanna Oriental Hotel to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and authentic Chiang Mai stay. I’ll definitely return on my next visit!

A horrible situation, the music in the pool was loud all day, making it impossible to rest. I've never seen a hotel with loud music that disturbed your stay. It's raining again today, no guests were in the pool, but the music persists. If you want to relax and unwind, stay away from this property.

The room is spacious and has a balcony which is convenient if you smoke. The beds are comfortable and we slept so well. The staff is really nice too. Only grouse was the heater which was inconsistent and we needed to keep adjusting the tap every few seconds to prevent being burnt by hot water or being frozen by cold water. The hotel was fully booked so our request to change a room or have an extra card was turned down.

Great quality price city hotel. Breakfast offers local options but taste is average, and big downside for us is that the lightning’s too white everywhere including the rooms. We’d prefer something warmer. Otherwise, great stay for a decent price!

A very nice place to visit...

In Chiang Mai old city. Within free pickup location for most one- day trips. The decorations are very traditional.

I’m not usually one to leave 1 star reviews, but this hotel is just horrible. The moment you enter the lobby you will know what a mistake booking it was as everything is so poorly maintained and dirty. I was hoping that the rooms would have something better to offer, but oh boy, I just couldn’t believe this place can ever be a 4 star hotel with all the dirty sheets and pillow covers. And I swear I went to a bathroom in the bus terminal that was cleaner than the bathroom in the room. After seeing all this we requested that they have a look for themselves and then the guy comes and changes the pillow cover as if everything else is just normal to them. See pictures to understand more what I’m talking about.

Nice room, bright. I had to change the room because there was a problem with the sink. The staff was kind.

Pretty good, and it was quite quiet, which is nice when traveling with children.
