Location was great! Staff was friendly and helpful. I really like the beds on the floor idea, super cute. The room is a bit dark, would help to have some light above the long mirror or brighter lights overall in the room. They don’t provide a hand soap in the shower but I requested one and they found one for me. Water pressure in the shower was good. Would stay here again.

Location is great. There is a nice sit-out which is peaceful during the day. Most attractions in the old city are close by: Wat lok Moli, North gate Jazz, Three Kings monument, etc. There are laundry facilities (self or serviced) at walking distance. I think it's near a school, so you wake up with the school. The place itself was quiet. It lacks an elevator, so heavy luggage is a hassle. With that said, the guy at the counter was helpful. Beds were firm, good after a long day of travel but not for long sleep. While the housekeeping was great, there was a nasty smell in the bathroom. Also, the water from shower spreads all over the floor. They could consider putting an inexpensive barrier on the floor to direct the water towards the drains.

I’ve booked this hotel 3times now, and all the time it was absolutely great. The staff are always warm and welcoming, making check-in smooth and the whole experience stress-free. The rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and quiet—just what I need after a day of exploring. The location is ideal, close to Chiang Mai’s main attractions, but still peaceful. It’s clear they care about quality and service. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in the city!

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is closed to the bus stand to go to Doi Suthep. Breakfast is simple but good. The only thing is that there is no lift.

Beautiful room, 10/10 cleanness, great service mind and comfortable bed

The location just inside the north gate was a perfect spot in the old city. With a 15 minute walk we could get to the North Gate Night market for great and affordable local food. The size of the room was enormous, we had no problems storing our two bags each. There was also a kettle and coffee, and a refrigerator so we could keep the provided waters cold. The breakfast was fine. Hard boiled eggs and sausage provided daily, as well as bread to make toast and jam. The coffee maker could make an Americano or simple an espresso pull, but they provided sugar and milk if you wanted to add that as well.

The Sabaidee was in the perfect location… everything was within walking distance or a short tuktuk ride. The overnight front desk girl was fantastic… she helped make phone calls for us, arranged for a toilet repair, and allowed us access to the employee bathrooms when the toilet repair took longer than expected (not the hotel’s fault when it busts at night and no repair places are open). None of the cons listed below are deal-breakers, and we would absolutely stay here again next time we come to Chiang Mai. 😁 Pros: - fantastic location (Northern part of Old City) - fantastic staff - daily breakfast buffet - gorgeous outdoor space - tons of amazing restaurants nearby - Super safe area - free wifi - 24-hour front desk Cons: - buildings in the area are close together so our room didn’t get much natural light - the overhead lights in the room were aggressively bright, so I had to MacGyver a bed canopy so that I could lay in bed without triggering a migraine - breakfast buffet is not veggie-friendly… every hot option had meat in it, and everything had eggs - each person gets a separate wifi login that can only be used on one device at a time… so you can’t multitask (ex: laptop and phone) - beds are typical Asian beds: very firm, and no “pillow top”… it wasn’t uncomfortable though and we slept well.

Good hotel in center of Chiang Mai. The room was clean and cozy. Conditioner was work. The breakfast was simple but good. Recommended

Oh, that's a great hotel! The room is very big, and the window overlooks the center of Chiang Mai City, so there are a lot of restaurants around this area. I went to an Indian restaurant. The places were clean, the staff was friendly, and they also included breakfast."

It was very nice to stay here, I wish I could stay here more..!! staffs were very sweet so I felt very welcomed. also shower had a hot water, bed is comfortable, And since room is huge, air conditioning was not too cold which is good. Also what I liked about the most is the garden has a huge tree, that was beautiful. I will stay here again if I ever come back to Channai!

Good location, huge room, comfy mats for sitting on the floor. Otherwise not quite what we were hoping for. Room had a window, but it was facing the back alley so no natural light. Overhead lights were super fluorescent. Breakfast left a lot to be desired (hardboiled eggs, hot dogs, cornflakes) and someone kept feeding the pigeons out where you ate breakfast, so they were constantly swarming around us.
