Run! Run fast! Regarding this hotel, all I can say is that it's a shame reviews can't be given negative stars.
There were advertisements for illicit massage services openly displayed at the front desk (last picture). I must have been out of my mind, a solo female traveler, to see that and still check in instead of running away immediately.
Then there's the room. If this hotel really opened in 2020, I'll eat my hat. Even my house, which is 20 years old, isn't this dilapidated. The furniture was broken, the walls were filthy with various patches, the bath towels were blackened... and there was a severe stench that photos couldn't capture.
I stayed for a total of 10 minutes, took some pictures, and checked out. Trip.com customer service battled with the hotel for me again and again. The hotel refused to refund, but I'm very grateful to Trip.com. Although it was a day of hassle, they eventually helped compensate for most of my losses. I just hope hotels like this stop labeling themselves as four-diamond, otherwise, they'll betray customer trust.
