The service was extremely poor. When we arrived with multiple bags, the staff didn't bother to assist with our luggage, and we had to carry everything to our room ourselves. On top of that, some of the lights in the room were not working one switch was broken. We have to stay with a ceiling light on because it couldn't be switched off during the night and making us difficult to sleep. The noise insulation was also terrible-we could clearly hear bikes, cars, and even people from above room flushing the toilet and closing the door sound.
There were no facial tissues or small towels provided, and when we requested them, we were told they were unavailable. During checkout, when we asked for a trolley to be sent to our room, the staff told us to go downstairs and pick it up by ourselves. If everything is self-service, it honestly makes you wonder what the staffs are there for-check-in and check-out could just as well be replaced with machines. A cleaning staff was really helpful though. He was helping us by carrying our bags to get down when we check out. The reception staffs are not nice at all.
The food at breakfast are also basic and self help. Coffee, Milo, Ovaltine and oranges are in drink section. Only breads, jams, peanut and butter spreads with a toaster and a sandwich maker are provided.
I've stayed at many budget hotels before, and they were far better than this. Given the price, this stay was extremely disappointing.
