Na-Rak-O Resort

The hotel has an excellent location, close to the bus station, night market, and not far from Walking Street and the clock tower. It's set back a little from the main street with many shops and cafes, and there's an Indian restaurant and a tour agency nearby. The room was spacious and cleaned daily, with fresh towels and pillowcases provided. Slippers, shampoo, and shower gel were in the room, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. Hot water was always available. What I didn't like was the short shower curtain; the floor got all wet after showering. They should really have a squeegee for the floor in the shower area. The bed was comfortable and large, and there was an insect screen on the balcony doors. In the mornings, I'd open the window and sleep with fresh air. It was beautiful – birds singing and roosters crowing! I had a blue room with cute blue polka-dot curtains. There's a communal fridge, a hot and cold water dispenser, tea, coffee, cookies, and bananas. The hotel is simple, but I liked it.

A wonderful, quiet place. Very clean and cozy. The staff, the ladies, are lovely. It's supposedly in the center of Chiang Rai, but it's tucked away a bit, so it's perfectly quiet. At night, you hear the sounds of nature. There's an open veranda where you can prepare breakfast. A fantastic place I'll definitely return to.
