Good location, near clock tower. There’s a Starbuck coffee shop right at the hotel

The stay experience was quite good and would recommend if you are coming with friends or family.

I stayed here with my cat again. Everything was perfect. Thank you to the staff of Sooknirund for making us feel comfortable and to the management for keeping one room pets friendly. 🤍

Spotlessly clean, quiet yet centrally located, and the front desk service was excellent.

We spent five nights at Sooknirund Hotel and had a lovely, relaxing stay. The hotel is beautifully designed with a mix of modern and vintage charm, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully put together. The inclusion of a cafetière in the room was a particularly nice touch. There are some great features throughout the hotel, including a small but well-equipped gym, and a cosy library room with a Nespresso machine, which made for a peaceful spot to unwind. While the stay was very comfortable overall, the breakfast was the one slight letdown. It’s à la carte, and you pre-select your dish at reception the night before. While the menu is varied, the quality and availability were inconsistent. On some mornings, there was juice, toast, and cereal alongside the main dish, while on others, these extras were nowhere to be seen, which was disappointing. Late check-out wasn’t available, which would have been appreciated, but the staff were consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming, and that made a big difference. In short, Sooknirund Hotel is a stylish and comfortable base in Chiang Rai, and we would happily stay again, we just hope breakfast becomes a little more consistent.

This Hotel is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a Value for Money hotel. The location is great. The breakfast was good.

Conveniently located near many restaurants and easy to get around.

Think of this hotel, I will think of its location first. As it is located in the heart of Chiang rai City. So convenient for everything. Just cross the road, I can explore a very beautiful northern style temple . Nice local market is just 3 blocks away. Several famous old restaurants in a walking distance too. The hotel itself is nice and clean. Breakfast that I almost skip to get good food outside is good. It was not a buffet though. I got a small menu to choose when checking in.

The location was very convenient and all the tourists spots in town is walking distance. The room decor was lovely but I still prefer having a small desk/ high table for doing some PC work. Overall, it’s nice place for a stay and I recommend !

Big and spacious room. Clean and tidy. Will definitely be staying in Sooknirund hotel again when visit Chiang Rai.
