Nak Nakara Hotel

Chiang Rai air quality was terrible but this hotel was great. Wonderful staff, helpful booking a driver for two days at a good price. Walking distance to Walking Street Saturday night market and a nearby 7-11. Nice pool, good brekky. Everything clean and working! Thanks!

Amazing service from the staff, everyone is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was different every day with a lot of variety. Close to the walking street but still very quiet. Free bicycles are available for the day.

I love how this hotel seems to consider things from a customer journey perspective, anticipating and providing for your needs. Good location for the night market, a slightly (10-15 minute) longer walk to the main bar area. The hotel organised motorbike rental although the motorbike could have been in better condition. The pool was busy so if you want a quiet room, ask to be away from the pool. Great breakfast, staff were excellent from the restaurant, reception, cafe, security and cleaning. Highly recommended.

The hotel is excellent and well located, around a 15-minute walk from the Night Bazaar, with convenient access to popular attractions such as the Blue Temple and White Temple. The rooms are spacious, beautifully maintained, and very clean. The overall facilities are impressive, including a lovely swimming pool. The staff are consistently respectful, friendly, and very helpful. They also gave us the printed map for out easier travel around the city. However, there were a few drawbacks. The shower water was not always hot. Breakfast is charged as included, but for pure vegetarians it feels like unnecessary expense, as there are very limited vegetarian options. On one occasion, we ordered a sandwich and were later told the kitchen was too busy to prepare it. We were asked to place our breakfast order a day in advance, but even then the service was disappointing. The food was not provided properly and was only partially packed for us. Overall, the stay was comfortable in terms of rooms, facilities, and service, but the food experience—especially for vegetarians—was not satisfactory.

Very good service at this hotel. The free drinks in the minibar were a nice extra.
