Hotel Dell'Orto

Nice, comfortable and well-served location. A few steps from the railway station, clubs and the historic center. Unfortunately breakfast is no longer served. You have to go to the pastry shop on the ground floor and queue like a normal customer of the café. There is no room reserved for hotel users. What you can order is limited. No eggs and bacon or cured meats or cold cuts. No cheeses. Only desserts or a ham and cheese toastie. There is reserved parking (one place only) at 15 euros per night. A service that is too expensive. The alternative is a free public parking according to the manager of the hotel 350 m away. In reality there are 700 of them. The acoustics of our room were terrible. The headboard of the bed adjoins the bathroom of the neighboring room. Even the words spoken could be distinguished.

We were at the hotel bar around 7pm, for a long time nobody considered us, then my husband came in and asked for a juice and a Campari soda, at least another ten minutes passed before they brought us the drinks, the Campari considered an aperitif, it arrived without even a chip, and they charged us €8! Shocked! Avoid!

I went to this hotel on a group trip and found the service terrible: non-existent breakfast room, you basically order a cappuccino and broche at the counter together with external customers, queuing at the counter. Extremely rude staff, almost annoyed while serving you, they don't even do table service. There is also no night reception (we had to bring the keys with us risking paying €50 if we lost them). The only point in favor, clean rooms and central location, very close to the station. I recommend the Stella del Mare hotel, a stone's throw from the Hotel dell'Orto but much better organized and with a rich breakfast buffet.

We have been frequenting this hotel for many years as well as our children. The location is strategic for various reasons: It overlooks Piazza Madonna dell'Orto and the Cathedral of the same name. Very close to the train station, the sea and the historic village. The comfortable rooms have modern and well-equipped bathrooms. The bed linen and towels of excellent quality and the cleanliness of the rooms excellent. The hotel has a Bar (Pippo) known for its pastry and more. I recommend it without hesitation 🌻

Hotel in an excellent position, in front of the municipality of Chiavari, and goes up to the characteristic loads of Chiavari, with municipal parking on the square. Clean rooms, normal comfort, renovated bathroom. Quiet and peaceful environment. Possibility to have breakfast in the pastry shop under the hotel, or in any case in the area, beach a 5-minute walk away. The staff is not very present, indifferent, in the perfect Ligurian tradition.

Sono andato in questo hotel con la mia compagna durante le vacanze di Natale. Ottima posizione nel centro storico, a due passi dal mare e vicino alla stazione. Belle camere con bagni spaziosi e nuovi, pulizia eccellente, ottima accoglienza e un bar pasticceria dove assaggiare specialità liguri veramente buone. Ottima esperienza che consiglio e che certamente ripeterò, grazie a tutto lo staff per la bella vacanza

Albergo incredibile! Ho pernottato diverse volte all'Hotel dell'Orto e si è sempre confermato il migliore. Personale estremamente cortese, pulizia ottima, camere arredate con molto stile, la colazione si svolge nel bar pasticceria situato all’interno della struttura, e che dire: impeccabile! Consiglio a tutti di provare la Delizia, una meraviglia. I prodotti sono tutti realizzati dalla pasticceria stessa! Anche il personale del bar è stato molto cortese! La struttura inoltre è situata tra la cattedrale ed il comune, e si trova sia vicino al centro storico, che vicino al mare, insomma comodissimo. Consiglio a tutti di andarci!

Hotel che vive della gradita e comoda pozione strategica ma scarsa accoglienza frigobar vuoto aree comuni non particolarmente pulite. Qualità che non giustifica i costi Occorrerebbe una gestione differente un refitting per valorizzare la location
