Staff incredibly rude including in restaurant.
Quite rude allowing entry to hotel in evening. Very rude in restaurant despite them getting the order wrong….3 times. Then arguing that one of the group ordered something theu hadn’t even seen on the menu instead of steak, despite asking for it medium rare.
Muttering in Italian as he walked away, clearly angry and practically throwing the plate down on the table.
Then when it was time to pay, fairly sure the person from front desk called us swear words, not realising we knew what the word ‘putana’ means.
2nd business trip at this hotel, first one 18 months ago. Never again.

We had planned to stay in Bellagio on Lake Cuomo for 2 nights but due to a miscommunication with the owner of the apartment we couldn't follow through with our plans. We drove North late in the afternoon and arrived in Chiavenna around 7:00 PM. Luckily The Hotel Conradi had an available room so we checked in and had a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Auch wenn das Hotel von aussen eher alt wirkt, sind es schöne, neu renovierte Zimmer mit angenehmer Klimaanlage und grossem Bad. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit und deutsch sprechend.

Biker friendly al 101%: il proprietario, da motociclista, mette a disposizione dei viaggiatori l'ampio garage senza surplus di prezzo (consigliabilissimo già per questo motivo). Centralissimo, all'imbocco del centro storico di Chiavenna. Camera ampia, luminosa, pulita e ben arredata. Decisamente da consigliare, nessun punto debole o difetto riscontrato.

Sono tornata nel ristorante di questo Hotel dopo un po' di anni. La struttura è sempre la stessa. Abbiamo preso dei pizzoccheri neri e dei pizzoccheri bianchi. Non ci siamo: improponibili, forse i peggiori che ho mangiato in Valle. Quelli neri, poi, erano tutti a pezzettini piccoli. Buoni invece i secondi: un'ottima costoletta di vitello alla milanese ed un'ottima tagliata agli aromi. Ottimo il sorbetto al Braulio. Paghiamo 40 euro a testa con acqua e mezzo litro di vino sfuso della casa.

Das Conradi ist ein modernisiertes Hotel und liegt direkt am Rand der Altstadt von Chiavenna. Da eine Durchgangsstraße vorbeiführt, ist es sehr rasch erreichbar. Etwas schwierig ist die Parksituation vor dem Haus, da es nur wenige und kleine Stellplätze gibt. Wir wurden vom Hotelier jedoch noch vor dem Check-in eingewiesen. Unser Zimmer im 5. OG war geräumiges und hatte auch einen kleinen Balkon mit schönem Ausblick auf die Berge. Die Straße vor dem Hotel war stark befahren, die Schalldichtigkeit der Fenster aber gut, so dass es kein Problem gab. Das Bett im Zimmer war breit, wurde jedoch als relativ hart empfunden. Das Bad war geräumig und gefällig gestaltet, die Duschkabine allerdings von innen sehr schlecht zu öffnen. Im Zimmer waren ein Kühlschrank und ein recht kleines TV-Gerät vorhanden. Da es nur italienisch-sprachige Programme bot, war es für uns nur von eingeschränktem Nutzen. Das WLAN als Alternative zum TV erwies sich als recht langsam. Eine willkommene Überraschung war das sehr gute Frühstück.

Freundlicher Empfang, schnelles Check-in. Parkplätze für grössere Autos limitiert, aber gute Lösung gefunden. Schöne modern eingerichtete Zimmer, kleiner Balkon. Frühstück mit guter Auswahl. Ideale Lage direkt am Eingang zur Altstadt und zum schönen Fussweg entlang des Flusses. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis - zu empfehlen
