The service was subpar and lacked warmth; they only explained the house rules. Daily room cleaning wasn't performed, and the trash bins were overflowing. Room 208's bathroom was terrible; there's no drain in the shower area, so water flows directly to the toilet and sink area, leaving the entire bathroom floor soaking wet and squishy underfoot. The breakfast was far from the 'generous' described in reviews; it was very mediocre. I especially wouldn't recommend it for elderly guests or anyone with difficulty climbing stairs, as you have to navigate a rather steep and long flight of stairs to reach the rooms.

The owner was very friendly and even recommended Longwu Yunhai Hotpot for dinner. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and you could enjoy the distant mountain views – a unique experience. Overall, for the price, there's really nothing to complain about with the stay.

We stayed 2 nights in this cozy homestay managed by a couple with a young child. They even have a self made “lift” to transport our luggage to 2nd floor where our room is located. The lady owner is very friendly and personally prepared healthy set of breakfast for us which was served at 3rd floor roof top cafe. Unfortunately we could not venture out to the nearby tea plantation and hiking trails as it was raining during our stay.

The room facilities were complete and very clean, and there was always hot water for showering. The B&B's location is quite close to two train stations, and there's also a walking trail nearby where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. The owner was incredibly friendly and gave us lots of great suggestions for our itinerary. We enjoyed their prepared breakfast on the balcony, and their tea was especially fragrant.

The lady owner was super lovely and accommodating. She was very welcoming and let us drop our luggage before check-in and gave us lots of good suggestions on where to go, what to do in Fenqihu and Alishan areas. She also gave some advices on the sunrise and sunset spots. We stayed in 4-people family room which as perfect and comfortable. There are all the facilities we needed and the breakfast was also very healthy and delicious. Highly recommended if you are making a trip to Alishan!

It’s a 10 mins walk to the nearest convenience store and eateries near to Xiding bus stop. The path gets quite dim and quiet at night. What’s nearby is mainly the “Tea and Mist Trail” - entrance to the trail is 2 mins walk from Dafang. The nearest bus stop to Dafang is Lincuo (3-5 mins walk away), which is not a major stop i.e. you can get off the tourist shuttle bus but you can’t board at Lincuo bus stop. The nearest stop to board the bus is Xiding. The room was fairly comfortable, but we were far from impressed with the aesthetics. Functional wise, It would have been useful to have a clothing rack in the room. While the room is spacious, the bathroom is rather cramped. Breakfast was simple and individually served, at the rooftop lounge which offers a great view of the mountain range.

Very very nice stay . Very friendly host . We loved it . Good service and have a lot of human touch The location is good as we could see the sun rise from the roof top Breakfast served was good especially the toast bread . Will certainly be back one day
